Jonah is a fairly typical run-of-the-mill schmuck. Boring lifestyle, dead-end job, no prospects, and no ambitions. A millennial. Except for the fact that his roommate, Hazen, is a ghost from the Baseball Hall of Fame. And all his appliances are possessed by a vociferous demon named Sal. And he’s pretty sure the homeless guy at the park is an alien.
Nick seems harmless. No tentacles. Nothing oozing from his pores. But Jonah gets the feeling Nick couldn’t zip up his pants, much less find his lost spaceship. With the ghost and demon along for the adventure, and running from the feds, what else could possibly go wrong?
I do not like supernatural fantasy stories, unless you count Lord of the Rings, but this hilarious take on it is very much worth the read. Just wish it was longer. Great job, Bryant!
