This is a really hard book to find in book stores, it took me a couple years and searching through AbeBooks to find a good used copy at a reasonable price.
If you like mystery and a little bit of fantasy, then this definitely is the book for you. After reading it the first time, this has become one of my favourites and re-reading it is always a joy. I also love the fact that this book is set mostly in Southern Alberta, as Luiken is Albertan. It’s hard to explain what it’s about, but definitely worth it.
