Stella

Every Saturday morning when all their friends went to the pictures to gaze wistfully at the glamorous silver screen, Stella and her sister Sadie would set off in the opposite direction to their dance class. For already at ten years old, Stella knew that if she was going to make it in show business, wishing and hoping were not enough. It would take talent, yes, but more than that - hard work, persistence and single mindedness. And if that's what it took, Stella was going to make it - make it right to the very top.
