A great supplement to Zora Neale Hurston's "Their Eyes Were Watching God". The Cliffs Notes helped me stay focused and interpreting the dialect/vernacular that the narrative is written in. When I am reading a book like this I want some help with the symbolism, metaphors, and themes and Cliffs Notes always delivers. It definitely enriched the read for me.

The book is admired by African Americans for celebrating black culture and its depiction of a woman's progress towards self awareness.
