Where's That Bone is a story about a dog who doesn't get along with a cat and is afraid that the cat will take his bones. The dog decides to hide them in different spots in the backyard, and ends up not remembering where he buried them. His owner decided to make a map of her backyard and places an X at every spot her dog buried a bone. This is a great book for a read-aloud about positional wording.I have made a shape game board and had students listen to my positional directions to figure out what shape it took them to.
