This is an entertaining how-to book that depicts fifteen+ projects that older children can do and make at home to personalize their spaces. Many of the projects still require adult assistance/supervision, but they are certainly things that a creative young person can accomplish. The photography and illustrations are very colorful and helpful to show how to make each project.

Our oldest borrowed this book from her elementary school library and has already made a list of the projects she wants to do. I'm not sure how many we'll tackle, but I'm happy it gave her inspiration. I thought it was interesting that there's a short science lesson on electricity and circuits for the bulb & switch project.
