Reframing The Screenwriting Process
What makes a screenplay fun to read? Shain Slepian argues that a screenplay that's fun to read has to be fun to write first. If creating your screenplay is started to feel like a drag, recapturing joy that caused you to start writing is the best way to start. In their time consulting with screenwriters, Shain has learned how to help them translate their passion into art, getting to the heart of what drives a screenwriter forward. Writing should never feel like obeying a checklist. Shain's goal with this book is not to teach you how to write or review a screenplay, but to promote their method of recapturing the fun. This book is about a little something Shain calls "Reframing the process." shainslepian.com

great book to reflect on the art of screenwriting
I loved your unique take on the writing process sprinkled with personal anecdotes here and there to make it more relatable. It is also concise (straight to the point) and can be read in its entirety in a afternoon. Highly recommended. Five stars
