This one was a CW miss for me.

H is wealthy guy from wrong side of the tracks and resents the h who has had a wealthy, sheltered life. They wind up passionately smexxing one night after he had been jilted and she was intoxicated.

She winds up preggers and he forces her to marry him. They have some spats and he ignores her a lot in favor of potential OW, who may or may not be real OW. (CW was vague on this point.)

Eventually there is an almost miscarriage and in the aftermath, True Love Avowals are made.

The problem was she was really a nice person, a little naive but nice and he kept harping on about how she wasn't his type, he resented her background and how naive she was.

None of which recommends itself to believablity when he declares his undying love. CW did such a great job of proving how different they were and how much he didn't like who she was, I didn't believe he was in love at all.

It just did not work, she hadn't changed and neither had he really, I couldn't see them in a HEA long term.

I stopped reading at page 122.

Before they had sex, he had asked her if she used protection against pregnancy. She said yes.

Later on he finds out that she is pregnant. He asks her that she had said that she used contraception.

The b*tch answers on page 122 that she had lied to him about using birth control. No apology for lying to him, nothing.

What a horrible, awful, despicable, deceitful, selfish idiot she is.

I find it unforgivable to lie about such an important thing as birth control.

Mixed feelings. Some parts were good and angsty but other parts dragged on. There was many details and sometimes repetitive analysis. Some drama that was prolonged by miscommunication between the MCs.

A sweet read. Boy meets girl, they dislike each other while secretly being attracted to each other. Attraction turns to love. As pregnancy, marriage due to the baby and a tragedy to scare them into their HEA!

A good read - obvious ending but all M&B are!

I found it utterly boring and predictable. I couldn't even count the times I yawned because there were plenty.
