A well researched, concise non-fiction book that details many Wendigo legends over the centuries, actual killings (by and of "infected" people), and pop culture references. It's suitable for kids who can handle vampires and werewolves, and you'll find this monster has an equally rich folklore.

Everything you need to know about that kind of monster in one volume: the spirit of lonely places, part of folklore, shapeshifter, how it looks, becoming a Wendigo, defeating it, whispers and warnings, monster madness, tales of horror, Wendigo reborn (Algernon Blackwood's 1910 story titled The Wendigo), in the movies. Together with many photos and illustration absolutely to the point and entertaining. Really recommended!
