Okay so I seriously thought I'd written a review for this already. Apparently not.
Anyway this was an ok read but nothing to get excited about. I found them all in one place for $9AUD so I bought them because it was cheap and you don't usually find whole manga series anywhere. Enjoyed the read but knew I'd have to read the others to fully understand the story. This one didn't really go anywhere, just introducing the characters and settings, but all first volumes in manga do that so it was expected. Never heard of this series before either but I was still willing to give it a try because I know that sometimes there's gems in a haystack (that's not right?) and I might like it despite the lack of publicity. It was good enough to get published, right?
Read about 1/2 the book in one day, from memory and the second half over like three days, so a quick read- like all other mangas anyway. I feel like I just read the writing and forget about the pictures sometimes and that's why they're so quick for me to read.
Okay read, would recommend if you just need a break from lengthy series, and a story that's just a little bit silly and not too serious.

A bit frenetic in presentation, with lots of tiny side text to distract you. Basic story though, is rags to riches: to pay off her mom's debts from a costly scam, Lang Bee finds herself mopping the school's floors and living in a sad little shack. Soon, she runs into the heir of a rich company and makes an impression...

Harusnya aku tak nekat beli ketika tahu ini komik Korea... Mestinya aku tahu... Komiknya jelek (atau tak sesuai seleraku). Harusnya aku tahu... aku gak akan pernah suka sama yang namanya Komik Korea. Gak mudeng saya bacanya. Gak suka.

A cute little book. I just pick this one up at a local book store one day because it was on sale, but it ended up having a decent plot and I'm looking forward to picking up part 2.
