Ben M. Baglio created the brief for two series of children's books - Dolphin Diaries and Animal Ark. Dolphin Diaries features a girl and her family from Florida, who travel around the world as marine biologists and study dolphins. Animal Ark features two children who work together to help animals and solve animal-related mysteries. The books were written by commissioned writers in the UK under Baglio's instruction using the pseudonym Lucy Daniels. Each ghostwriter is named with a 'Special Thanks' on the copyright page.

Using his real name he also wrote the book series The Pet Finders Club, featuring a group of three children who search for peoples lost pets.

Came across my 2003 school reading log, so figured I should enter these books in too. In the words of my ten-year-old self, this book was: "Really good"

the Mcgraths are in key, west Florida visiting a very unique and special dolphin center-with "dolphin teachers". rhis is jody's first time going here so she is pumped! Jody loves watching the dolphins at work and play. But when a very special dolphin gets stuck in the net will Jody be able to save her? you will have to read the book to find out! This book was really super amzing, if you like dolphins like me!

This book started off average but I really enjoyed the 2nd half. I learnt a lot about how dolphins can help people who have autism, which isn't what I expected to learn from a kids story book. You can tell how researched and well thought out these books are. Props to the author

I enjoyed reading this, think its a very suitable book for teen girls. I've learned some interesting things about dophins and their interaction with human "friends."

Another really good series of books by Lucy Daniels, I was completely in love with these books when I was younger. This series I particularly likes as it was Dolphin based ands they used to be my favourite animal when I was younger.

If you like animals you cannot help but love these books when you are a child.

Touching the Waves is the 2nd book in the Dolphin Diaries Series. in this book Jody goes to Florida to visit a dolphin research center and saves a dolphin from a net and worries that shell never see the dolphin again. even though this book is fiction you could use this book in a science class when you talk about mammals and the ocean.

My favorite part was when Rosie was freed and healthy again. the worst part was when Rosie was caught in the net that people left laying around a key where no one lives. My favorite character was Jody. She helped the dolphin. The worst character was the person that polluted the key. Auryn 11 years old , 2014
