Trevor probably shouldn't be texting strangers on hookup apps while he's at work in the first place. But he definitely, definitely should be paying more attention, so he doesn't text the wrong person.
He only realizes his mistake once the answer comes back: not an exciting response, but a simple character. A question mark.
Trevor has accidentally sent his very intimate, very inappropriate picture, to his mobster boss.
And now he knows a punishment is coming. It's just a matter of what kind of punishment that will be.
Alessia Imogen is a writer of soft mafia mm romance. When she's not obsessing over organized crime and family betrayals, she's collecting stationery or playing with her cats.
This is the cutest mafia story I’ve ever read. Very sweet, a thoughtful author’s note at the beginning, some light BDSM, a bit of breath play (yay!) and some on page aftercare (yay yay yay!!!)
There was a few typos, and some of the sentences had an awkward structure, otherwise I’d give this 5 stars.
I read this novella in one sitting. I'm not even sure it could qualify as a novella, more of a short story clocking in at about fifty pages. And it was a good one. Incredibly high heat as most of the story is the hookup. It was mafia lite in a lot of ways, and I would've loved to get more between our two MCs. Trevor and Lorenzo had great chemistry and were captivating and if Imogen ever wrote a full novel of them, I would eat it up.
What a fun smutty novella. This only would have been better by being longer! In just a few chapters we get a full picture of Trevor and his interest in Lorenzo. Also got a wonderful surprise that there will be a holiday novella follow up with these 2!
Sweet, short and very, very good. This is the second book I've read by Alessia and it is immaculate. I just love how she writes and I really love the characters too.
This one was a fun, short and cute(?) stort (At least I did find it very cute). I enjoyed it very much

Short very quick read full of spice. Their story is one I feel like could be explored and developed into a full length novel if the author wanted to. Both men, what little we saw of them, were interesting and we just got to scratch the surface of who they are.
This is a very quick and fast read. I kinda wish it was longer but it works well as a novella. High heat and we got exactly what was advertised — wrong text to the right guy.
This was a steamy, quick read that I’m happy I stumbled on earlier today. I’m jumping right into Wrong Thread Right Rope next and I’m looking forward to reading Can’t Forget You, Back to Rome book one when it goes live. 🖤🔥🤳🔥🖤
Trevor does a big whoopsie and his world tilts, he fears the worst from his mobster boss. A short story at times very sexy, slightly funny and then a threat of violence, well it IS the Mob. A nice, sexy short tale.
This is the first book I've read by this author and I loved it. It's short, sexy and has a great storyline. I will definitely be reading more from this author.
