We met Luca in another story now it's his turn with his girl.
Callandria already has her life set infront of her being a daughter in the Mafia and she sorta expects it and still bitter until one night her place was attacked and she was taken. She's chained up in Luca bedroom and she's already hating her kidnapper as for Luca he's smitten but says it's just bussiness which he lying the more Call speaks the more he wants her.
There is a tiny push away from Call but only for a split awhile until she starts falling for him, the only problem they have is Call family who wants to start a war. They gotta stop Call father from starting it. We get glimpse of the brothers and our next guy ;)
No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondary character, drama, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore

This was okay, but I didn't feel off-the-charts chemistry between them. So I find it a bit difficult to get invested in the story.
Anyway, following the ending of Book 1, Luca's brother killed Callie's grandfather, and they left dead bodies to clean up. But Callie, unfortunately, steps into the crime scene. Luca's men didn't know what to do, so they took her to him. One look at Callie, and Luca knew that she's the one for him, insta-love and all.
Some suspense was thrown into the story, that eventually got resolved through an alliance.
Overall, this was okay, but it's not for me. 🤷♀️

I’m not sure what didn’t work for me in this one, maybe I wasn’t in the mood for a mafia book or maybe I wasn’t in the mood to read about a heroine who’s talking like she has any power in the situation when she’s literally chained to a bed 🤦🏻♀️

Sexy as hell. I loved the little bit of roughness in this novella. It was perfect for these two.
Just short, mafioso, insta-love, almost enemies to lovers goodness.

I love Ms. Rose's books. I've practically read them all but I must say after reading Wrecked and now Wanton, I love the whole Mafia romance vibe she has going on, Lol. They are just soooooooo good! And let me tell you these Valentino men, honey, they are nothing to be played with! They are fierce and they love hard! Mess with their women and you are going to get laid the hell out! Lol. Loved this story with Luca and Callandria. He knew right away, and he did what he had to do to keep her. So freaking good! 4.5 🌟 🌟🌟🌟

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Luca and Callandria met when she is kidnapped by his men. Callandria wakes at three in the morning and finds the house eerily quiet when she heads downstairs, she goes outside without an escort. As Callandria walks outside she finds some of Valentino's men and one of her grandfather's goons is between them dead. One the ground is a pile of dead bodies, Callandria asks the men if her grandfather is dead, when they nod to her she feels nothing. Callandria feels nothing for her grandfather, when she goes to step back inside, she runs into someone. A hand goes over Callandria's mouth and she's lifted off the ground, she fights them off but she loses. When Callandria wakes up she is chained to a bed, and she realizes all over that her grandfather is dead. When Callandria hears voices she recognize some, but soon she realizes it's Luca's voice she doesn't know. Callandria realizes she needs to get out there, when she sees the lamp on the bedside table she reaches for it. When she starts to unscrew the bulb, Luca is standing there and asks her what she plans to do with the bulb. Callandria drops the light bulb, it rolls out of her reach. Callandria tells Luca that if he comes any closer she will kill him with her bare hands. Luca tells Callandria that she's never seen without an escort, but she tells that that his men killed them. Luca tells Callandria that her grandfather tried to kidnap Rafe wife. Callandria tells Luca she doesn't know what he's talking about, he tells her he knows she doesn't. Callandria asks Luca about her father and brother, Luca tells her they're alive. Luca tells her he doesn't know what to do with her, but her chained to his bed appealing for him to give her up. Callandria raises her hand to slap Luca, but he tells her if she hits him she'll be wearing his handprint. Callandia tells him if he touches her she'll never give him what he wants. Luca tells her that she will because the only thing she wants more than out of his room is out of this life and he's the only one willing to give her the freedom she wants. Callandria asks him what does he want from her and he tells her he wants her. When Rafe Wrecked finds out that Luca has Callandria Genovese chained to his bed, he calls him asking him why. Luca tells his brother that they couldn't leave her after leaving a pile of bodies. Luca tells Rafe that he's going to marry Callandria, and that her carrying an heir to the Valentino family will stop a war, her father will fall in line and stand down, and families will aligned with him too. Rafe asks Luca if he's sure he wants to be tied to the Genovese family permanently, he wants Callandria. When Luca goes back to the bedroom Callandria is curled up in bed, he takes off her chains and climbs into bed with her. Callandria snuggles up against Luca, he doesn't sleep he just watches her until the sun rises. When Callandria wakes she asks Luca what he's doing, he tells her he just woke up and wanted to know if she needed the restroom. Luca ask her if she slept well, she asks him if anyone sleeps well chained to a bed, he tells her he doesn't know he's never been in her shoes. Callandria asks him if he wants to trade places, she'll place captor and he can be the hostage. Luca ask her if this is her way of telling him she wants him tied to her bed, Callandria tells him that if she can set it on fire once he's in it. Luca brings Callandria clothes to wear, then he gives her three minutes to freshen up. After Callandria uses the restroom, Luca tells her they're done with the chains, she has free rein of the house, she just can't leave or contact anyone. Callandria asks him if this comes with her having to sleep with him, Luca tells her no all she has to do is follow the rules. Callandria asks him what are the rules and he tells her them. Callandria asks him why he cares, Luca tells her because he wants her. When breakfast arrives Callandria is introduced to Ricardo, who has worked for them since Luca was a little boy. When Luca tells Callandria about Ricardo's wife being in a nursing home, and how Luca helps them out. Callandria tells him that she's surprised how sweet Luca is, he asks her if her option of him is that low. Callandria tells him she doesn't know much about him only that he chained her to a bed all night. Luca tells her she wasn't chained to a bed all night, she slept in his arms all night, she slept peacefully and she likes to cuddle. Callandria tells him she doesn't, Luca tells her he doesn't want to get on her nerves but she brings it out in him. She asks him if it's her fault they can't have a conversation without him being a jerk, he tells her it's her fault because he's so hard it hurts. Luca tells her that no one speaks to him like she doesn't, the more she fights the more he aches to taste her. Callandria asks him what he wants, Luca tells her he wants her to help him stop a war. Callandria asks him what she has to do, Luca tells her he wants her to give him a heir. In exchange she'll have her freedom, and whatever marriage contract her grandfather has disappears, she can get a career or whatever she chooses to do. Callandria ask him what if she doesn't agree, he tells her she stays until he convinces her. When Luca and Rafe arrive at the deli their bodyguard finds Callandria's father already inside. When Luca finds out that Marcello isn't inside he wants to know where he is. They make a plan to hide a gun inside. The men pat each other down, then they talk. Emilio tells them he wants his daughter back, Luca tells him he's not getting his daughter back. They argue and soon Luca realizes what Emilio has planned, he knows why Marcello isn't at this meeting. Emilio tells Luca that Callandria will be back with him soon, but Luca tells him they are in love and she won't go willing. When Luca sees Emilio stumble backwards and reach for something he grabs for his gun and shots him in the leg. Callandria pleads with her brother to let her go. She tells her brother that Luca loves her that he'll risk everything to set her free even his own life. Soon they both hear gunfire, Marcello goes to check things out. Callandria knows it's Luca coming for her, so she goes to find him pointing a gun at her brother. Luca lowers his weapon when Callandria stands between them. Callandria tells Luca she belongs to him, body heart and soul. When they get back home Luca tells her that the bodyguards are going to be alright. Luca tells Callandria what he did to her father, then asks him why he didn't kill him. Luca tells her because it would haunt them and poison them he didn't want that between them. When she notices her brother Marcello appear with a gun pointed at them. Callandria shoves Ricardo hard to the floor. Callandria yells at her brother, and finds out that he shot their bodyguard. Callandria tells her brother she's not there against her will she's where she wants to be. Callandria tells Marcello to go, but he tells her he can't leave without her. Marcello tells her that if he doesn't show up with her her father will kill Luca. So Callandria leaves with Marcello against her will. When Luca and Rafe arrive at the deli their bodyguard finds Callandria's father already inside. When Luca finds out that Marcello isn't inside he wants to know where he is. They make a plan to hide a gun inside. The men pat each other down, then they talk. Emilio tells them he wants his daughter back, Luca tells him he's not getting his daughter back. They argue and soon Luca realizes what Emilio has planned, he knows why Marcello isn't at this meeting. Emilio tells Luca that Callandria will be back with him soon, but Luca tells him they are in love and she won't go willing. When Luca sees Emilio stumble backwards and reach for something he grabs for his gun and shots him in the leg. Callandria pleads with her brother to let her go. She tells her brother that Luca loves her that he'll risk everything to set her free even his own life. Soon they both hear gunfire, Marcello goes to check things out. Callandria knows it's Luca coming for her, so she goes to find him pointing a gun at her brother. Luca lowers his weapon when Callandria stands between them. Callandria tells Luca she belongs to him, body heart and soul. When they get back home Luca tells her that the bodyguards are going to be alright. Luca tells Callandria what he did to her father, then asks him why he didn't kill him. Luca tells her because it would haunt them and poison them he didn't want that between them. Luca tells her that he'll give her her freedom but he can't let her go, so Callandria asks him to marry her, and he accepts. Five years later, Callandria chains Luca to the bed, then she tells him she's pregnant. They're married and have twins. The Valentino family paid off Callandria's father's debt now they have an alliance between the families. The didn't just stop a war, they build a future. They are both happy and have hope for the future.

This one was a bit slower and less instalove than the first book/novella in the series.
The relationship started off with a captor - captive dynamic, but quickly turns into a man obsessed and I don’t care about all the rest kind of relationship 😅 this made the spice scorching and kept me turning the pages. I had a bit more difficulty seeing / feeling the romance between Luca and Callandria. It just kind of was there all of a sudden?
I did enjoy the family dynamics and twists in this one and am very curious about the next brother Gabe!

Luca Valentino! I’ve been looking forward to his story since finishing older brother Rafe’s book “Wrecked” and it did not disappoint. This one was angsty, a little dark, lots of twists and turns but still felt like the safe story we’ve come to love from Nichole Rose. The character development and back story was amazing, and when Luca fell he fell HARD. The love these two shared was so deep and tender, while also being burn the world down if anyone touched her intense. Callandria had so much inner strength and how Luca saw that and wanted everyone to know was written so well. You can’t help but feel for these men, getting trapped into a lifestyle all because of their love for their family. But to see that love deepen and grow through their women? Perfection! Absolutely no cheating, no OW drama (slight OM but only through her family and never her), possessive OTT alpha with a strong heroine at his side and a very steamy yet sweet 5 year later epilogue. Get ready for a courageous heroine and dirty talking, possessive mafioso because this is one book you don’t want to miss!

It's always great when one of my favorite authors writes a book in my favorite genre!!! Callandria is a formidable woman and I love that she puts the men in her life in line. Luca's love, protection and possessiveness are exactly what I love in an MC. I loved that they both enjoy a little naughtiness when they are having smexy times!!! 🥵 The sweetness and steam wrapped up in the epilogue is a perfect way to wrap up the story of this wonderful couple.

Luca and Callandria were meant to be, and even though Callandria put up a fight at the beginning she quickly realized she was falling for Luca. I can’t blame her because the things Luca did as whispering in her ear all while telling her he’d never push for anything she wasn’t willing to give was so hot. These characters were perfect for each other and the banter was A+! I really hope we see more of these two in Gabe’s book because they have me obsessed with them!

It did take me a bit to warm up to Luca, I'm not gonna lie. I think having his point of view was totally necessary because it gives us some insight into what he was thinking versus how he was acting. Callandria was another great strongly written Nichole heroine. Both are put in a terrible position and are trying to prevent a war. Her grandfather forced his families hand and now her father and brother are targeting Luca's family. These two had some serious heat and I loved reading every second. I can't wait to see what in store for the last Valentino brother.

Great read, I was hooked from beggining to end. I though Luca was going to be a darker hero, but he was a softie for Callandria, although he was a bit of a jerk at the beggining.
The love was a bit too insta for me, I know these kind of novels are but one day they are fighting and Luca wants Callandria to give him an heir to secure an allience to stop the war and suddenly he's in love. There was a spark between them at first and it could've had more development.

Gosh how is everything Nichole Rose writes so incredible?! I love this series so much. This book brought me to tears in the best way. It’s incredible how much Luca loves Callandria. I wanted to smack him a bit when he led Callandria to believe they needed to be tied together for the good of the family and not just because he was obsessed and in love with her but he was trying to protect his heart as well. Absolutely incredible! A must read!

So hot, I loved Luca and Callandria! After being stolen from her home after her grandfather is taken out by the capo, she was not prepared to fall in love. Luca took the mafia princess to forge an alliance and stop a bloody war from wrecking their world. What he got was his soul mate. These two form a connection so strong, it is truly unbreakable. I loved the devotion between them, it was swoon-worthy. Can't wait for Gabe's story!

LOVED the second book in this trilogy! I swear each book just gets better and better. Callandria is kidnapped by Luca as a means to stop the war between the Valentinos and the Genoveses. While this occurs, both Luca and Callandria fall in love with each other. But will this be enough to end the war between the two families for good?

This is the third book in the series (I’m counting the prequel), and the war continues. Since you read the blurb, I’ll get straight to the review. First, I loved that the Genovese family was involved in this one, especially the daughter Callandria “Callie.” She’s got a lot on her young shoulders being born into a male-dominated “business” and family. She’s chattel, to be used to further serve the “family’s” goals.

Another great addition to this series. Callandria (what a gorgeous name!!) is exactly as Luca describes her - a spine of steel and diamonds! I liked how he was captivated by her when he saw her and that the desire for each other was mutual and not forced. A terrific story with amazing characters.

I wasn’t as big of a fan of this book. I feel like the relationship between Callandria and Luca happened way too fast and I would have loved to see more about them instead of a quick two days falling in love. I understood the idea behind the rush due to the issues between their families but I fell a bit short after the first book in the series.
