This little book contains a series of short comments on a myriad of topics which are daily reminders of what sort of person we ought to be. It is a father's counsel to his children about what he hopes for them. This could be used for commentary inserts during Music and the Spoken Word or some other broadcast. Following these comments would bode well for all who follow them.

A fascinating window into mid century Mormonism, written by Gordon B.’s dear old dad.

Contains both condemnations of industrialism and lauding of imperialism, whilst repeating the same old spiritual adages that are worn a bit thin.

A good read nonetheless.
