Corporate warfare. Human augmentation. Buckle up for a wild ride! Read the complete 6-book collection of this internationally best-selling series as a single boxed set.
From Book 1:
There's a corporate cabal that wants to rule the world. Some might say it has been doing it already for decades by whatever means necessary. But they are no longer content to hide in the shadows. They want to become true masters.
Jason Hunt knows nothing about that world. But when his wife becomes ill, he finds himself pitted against the cabal that might hold the key to her survival. To save her, he needs to embrace technology he doesn't understand, take over a billion-dollar company without a billion dollars, outsmart professional assassins, and land a contract with the DOD. But even that might not be enough.

FROM THE I love science fiction in general and cyberpunk in particular. There are, of course, thousands of great cyberpunk books and movies, from William Gibson's Neuromancer and The Matrix to many wonderful indie novels and films. But I've always been fascinated with how we get from today's world to the world of garish neon lights and deadly cyborgs. The world where corporations more powerful than any government are battling each other under the "sky the color of television tuned to a dead channel." The Upgrade series explores just that. Enjoy the ride.
Born on a military base in the Far East, Wesley had a rather unusual childhood. While other kids ran around parks and traded toys, the oldest son of an active Air Force officer and a kindergarten teacher spent his early days walking on wings of parked jet fighters and climbing into pilot chairs of strategic bombers. He first started writing while in grade school, once hijacking a physics lesson to read out loud his science fiction novella to the entire class. He continued to write in college, mostly short pieces until finally, he felt he had some full-length stories that needed to be read by other people.
His wide variety of interests includes photography, which once led to a publication in the Popular Photography magazine, martial arts, music, and, of course, reading and writing.
Wesley moved to New York City in the tumultuous 90s. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son.
In depth characters dispursed throughout. A realistic future imagined with real life now alluded to. I could almost see it happening. A little hard to put the scenes together at the beginning, but it grew on me. I did anticipate the ending..
Many characters and a wide ranging story. Somewhat dark dystopian future with some very interesting concepts on future medical advances for human augmentation .
Interesting future. Cyborgs appear almost common place. The ingenuity of the plots in each book keep you on the edge of your seat. I actually felt sad as some of the characters died in their roles. Cryogenic sleep restoration with Nannie’s and a quantum computer actually seemed plausible. Corporations are already larger and more globally connected. Capitalism is already running rampant. The corollary to present “stop the steal” are uncanny.
