I stopped believing in Santa Claus and happily-ever-afters when I lost my parents…so ten years ago I stopped trying. I threw myself into running my dad's hotel, The Diamond, where I make California dreams come true for the rich and famous. But now I realize there’s no one to come home to. I have no family, no friends, just my first ever boyfriend who works more than I do and in three months barely even knows me.
I have every material thing a person could ask for yet I still feel...empty.
And then Will asks me to marry him. He wants to bring me home to Megelle Island to meet his family.
I tell myself I’ll break it off after the holiday. I tell myself I just want one real Christmas with a family and then I’ll show myself out the door. Three weeks will fly by fast. But then I meet the Bow family. They’re everything every family should be and being around them is helping to heal the cracks in my heart. Giving them up is going to be the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.
Especially Archer.
*Part of a mini-series but can be read as a standalone, in any order with the others
You guys just know how to write Hallmark channel worthy supernatural Christmas joy! This one starts out sad. A girl who was wealthy but lonely despite having a boyfriend. She owned a hotel & she was very kind & generous to her staff. However, the staff had lots of get togethers & never invited her. The boyfriend might as well not exist he's working all the time. Even when their together he is on his phone or watching a game. Don't get me started on how wrong he does her when they leave for vacation! He leaves her at the train station. She can't remember how to get there because the way is hidden so mortals won't find it. She's freezing when she gets there because he insisted they pack their winter gear. Then she is stranded at Magella Island at the train station. Oh & she has no Prescott phone so she can't call anyone. Human tech doesn't work on the island. Cue the handsome stranger who helps her. She gets invited to stay with his family. Mind you this is a month long vacation & her boyfriend, oops fiance, is days late. He proposed in front of like a hundred people including her staff. She didn't want to have everyone pity her if she said no so she said yes & was going to dump him after the vacation. She has a blast with Archer the handsome guy who saved her. And his family is everything she was hoping for and missing. There is a big plot twist that I reside to ruin. You'll have to read the rest on your own. So is shocking. However, the love she finds is soul deep.
Ivy is a Fae from Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California, that is accustomed to be alone and uninvited to social events by her friends as well as co-workers at her place of Business , the famous Diamond Hotel of Beverly Hills, a hotel that she owns.
One day, her current boyfriend, Will Beau, traps her into an engagement proposal that she feels she has no choice but to accept in order to avoid any embarrassment that a refusal would have caused both of them, because the proposal was made in front of all her employees, at her place of work.
Will went on to suggest publicly, with the help of her Manager, that they take a vacation of on month at his parent's house located on the hidden island.
A series of events occur that finds her, literally frozen, abandoned an without her luggage on this cold island during the Christmas Holidays.
Luckily she meets a fellow Supernatural Traveler, Archer Bow who introduces himself as Will' s brother and brings her home with him to be properly introduced, to the entire family as Willy's fiance.
The authors through their gift, succeed in creating a story full of imbroglio that have the reader riveted to this book not knowing what will happen next.
Very entertaining as well as very written, I highly recommend this book and rate it 5 Stars .
I've said this so many times that I might be a little biased. Chandelle and Megan can do no wrong. When these two team up you know there's going t to be explosive magic in what they do. Trim my tree is based in The Night Realm. In all honesty this could easily be a Hallmark movie. The writing is amazing, the story line is so good. I can't wait for the next book. I was given this book as an Arc and absolutely loved it.
Absolutely freaking love this series. ‘Tis the time for those cute rom com hallmark channel feels and this definitely marks those boxes. I absolutely adore this series and could not put Trim My Tree down, even when I ended up staying up till three in the morning just to finish it. Fantastic job, yet again. Super excited for the next book!
I loved this book! I live that characters from the 2 previous books make appearances. I love the "Hallmark" moment fantasy story. I love the self talk, the crazy family love. It's an uplifting wonderful story for a magical Christmas. One of those stories you can't put down. ❤️
I loved this story. It had wonderful magic, a fated mates romance and enough Christmas decorating, food and shenanigans to get anyone in the mood for the season. Really loving this series and it was fun to see characters and events from past books from another point of view. So excited more stories are on their way.
Another amazing Christmas story from these amazing people. These stories are perfect for this time of year and you get to see your favorite characters all together for the holidays. Ivy and Archer are so adorable and cute that you can't help falling in love with them both
Fabulous, cute and easy read from two of my favorite authors. Always a pleasure to read there work and this one didn’t disappoint me. Can’t wait for the next one ladies!!!
Chandelle and Megan you have done it again loved this book, I've cried I've laughed. I felt I was there watching the whole story play out. Your imagination's are just amazing, I can't get enough!!!!!!
I really enjoyed the story however, I think you need to reread and fix some of their words. It was very entertaining and very enjoyable and I’m glad I had a chance to read it.
This book felt like a really good Hallmark movie (and I typically don't like them). I was STUNNED to find out about the beau/bow situation about halfway through. That was a twist I would have never seen coming!! Loved the book and can't wait to read the next one!
AMAZING What a roller coaster of a ride Loved the snippet sbout another Authors book (that iv actually read) made me giggle Epic love story with everything from heartache to joy AMAZING
This series is really great and I’m loving the soulmate method BUT for the love of whatever you hold dear why can the authors not EDIT??!! Roll and role Dual and duel Over and over spelling errors that are missed because they are homonyms. Does this bother no one else??
I'm loving this series set in one area but each book by a different author. This was a smooth short love story that moved along nicely with a HEA ending
This Serie really is enchanting. There is no way to stop reading it and ask for more. This time the readers are introduced to Ivy’s and Archer’s story. Be my guest to revel on this lovely piece.
So really loved the story but it just ends right when it was getting good just like the rest of the Christmas books prior to this one. It would be nice to see what happens next with all these characters.
