I did not listen to the cassette. I read the book. This is a wonderful book. I was remarkably moved by these stories. I am a father of 2 fantastic daughters and this book will fill any dad with incredible emotion. If you are a dad you will love this book. You will hold your children tighter than you ever have before after reading this book. I'm getting emotional just writing this review. I'm going to call the house right now before my next client comes and talk to my girls and tell them how much I love them.

When I was looking at fostering my niece, I thought I'd better learn something about being a father.

The Chicken Soup for the Soul series is known for its short, inspirational stories.

What makes this one stand out are the constant twists – you know it's going to be feel good, but you can't always see where that will come from.

I recommend it for dads and anyone who has a dad.

A collection of inspiring stories for all dads around the world. Some stories are really touching and many make you feel proud to be a dad. Most of them are short, so it makes sense for a long term read - by reading 1 or 2 stories at a time. Highly recommended.

Great book for inspiration short stories

My father passed away at 74 years old…his sudden passing made me reflect on my life and the roles I have as a father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and leader. This book contains some nice short stories that help me reflect on my own life and help gain some perspective on “what really matters”. I can recharge my gratitude bucket when I read them first thing in the morning. Id highly recommend for anyone searching for something meaningful and down to earth to read.

Only liked about 5 stories out of the entire book. Rest of them didn't really do anything for me.

A well written collection of "Dad" stories - some sad, some funny, some hilarious, but all good! Looks like I'll be adding some more "Chicken Soup for the . . . " books to my "to read" list.

A lot of the stories were about fathers missing their kids as the kids got older, so it was not a very uplifting book to read.
