This book is definitely written by a European, but the information contained in it is incredibly helpful to anyone. The section on color theory is excellent, and some of the pictures alone are worth the cost of the book. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in all aspects of lighting, from design to technical information on the lamps contained in a plot (all of which is covered in this book).

Beyond the technical information (which is detailed), the production photos in this book always yield inspiration.
