This was a helpful intro book to teaching maths. It was recommended after my Teach First CKA. I picked up some good ideas and I feel my image of 'teaching maths' is building up. It largely agreed with other books I had read on best practice, which is reassuring.

The book was targeted towards new trainee teachers so for once, I was close to the target audience. Hopefully this gives me some good scaffolding for developing more complex plans.
