I just reread this book tonight with Lizzie and Crystal. I wish all middle school students could read this book. Actually, there is not much reading required--it's a flipbook.

I encourage all students to check this book out from the public library, go to a local bookstore, or ask your parents to add it to their next amazon.com order.

Further, I encourage students to bring the book into school, and we will take some time during class to look at and discuss the book. Treats and beverages (hot chocolate or tea) for students who bring the book to class.

Excellent little book that gives a sense of perspective to humanity's relative place in the universe, zooming as it does from the very large (10 million light years) to the very small (1 fermi, the size of a single proton). Should be required reading for all kids.

i flipped through this in borders, it was like 20 bucks or something. meh. its fun for about 20 secs. just watch the movie on you tube if you haven't.

Really a classic. You've probably already read/seen this even if you don't realize it.
