The Plants by Frits W. Went (Time, Inc. 1963) (581.0222) is a volume from the "Life Nature Library." This volume was published in 1963, so its photos and illustrations are extremely dated. Most of the information contained remains current, however, and is a good source for the dilettante or the neophyte biologist. My rating: 6.5/10, finished 2/1/14.
