Heard this author speak at a yoga conference. An amazing highly educated individual and was very interesting to listen to him talk at the conference. Very insightful and dedicated to helping people through yoga and meditation practices. This is a book filled with wonderful quotes from numerous sources and lots of Aadil's own wisdom from his years as a yogi, meditator, teacher, lawyer, physicist and YES...he has done it all! And to top it off...he is just a common JOE!

I took a yoga class from Aadil Palkhivala at the 2010 Colorado Yoga Journal Conference, and he just emanates love and light. A very gentle soul.
My ytt instructor recommended this book to us, but I didn't buy it until after my 200hr was over. I'm so privileged to have found a copy at a reasonable price, but friends this book is worth the price tag. Every page over pours with prose so beautiful and inspiring. I'm glad I didn't skip it.
I will definitely keep this book close for my life and come back to it often. There are a collection of inspiration quotes, personal stories, and myths throughout. It's organized well, so you can flip to a topic and get inspired for a class, or even a series. He stresses darmha in a way which many teachers would be grateful for.
I am hoping it gets an ebook release, so I might wrote to the publisher. It hasn't been in print for years and I believe we should all read it at least once.
