LOL read it, own it - I wrote it!! So what else could I do but give my own book a full 5 stars.
I believe that our education system falls down because we don't teach the hows of learning. This is especially prevelent with more and more entering the higher education but not being ready for it. Therefore I wrote this book as a guide on how to study: how to read academic texts; how to structure an essay; and how to plan revision and exams.
Originally I wrote it as a free pamphlet for fellow students at Susex Uni, but then I was approached for publication (which was one of the high points in my life). Sometimes I wish it hadn't be published because I would prefer the information to be free, but it's happened and now it is able to reach a wider audience too.
I believe all students concidering higher education should read this advice - I know I wouldn't have gained my degree without it :-)
