白嘉轩就是白鹿原。一个人撑着一道原。
书里最喜欢的人物之一就是身为族长的白嘉轩。他光明磊落，正直正义，是整个白鹿原的“灵魂”人物，确实有一族之长的担当。白嘉轩对妻子情真意切，对长工鹿三有情有义……但对于“父亲”这个身份来说，他不算成功。
一开始就被白嘉轩委以重任的孝文也确实按着原定的方向在走，但在父亲的严苛要求下慢慢开始破罐破摔，行着让白嘉轩唾弃的事。浪子也有回头日，孝文进入保安团，一路升官。但他们父子之间的关系却再也回不到从前。
孝武估计就是大家口中非常听话的孩子吧。原本是种地的好手，却因为哥哥而成为父亲的期望。他处处在学着父亲，却处处学不像，缺少主见，没有主心骨的他只能注定是个模仿者。
如果说对三个儿子是极端严格的控制，那么对女儿白灵的疼爱多一点，自由度更高，这也成就了白灵独立果敢的性格，但白嘉轩始终是传统的，在女儿逃婚后，坚决的说出了断绝父女关系，再不想见的话。他们也确实没有再见过了，这也成了很多人的遗憾吧，反正我是。
如果说白家是重情重义，那鹿子霖就是重财重利，总想着要在白家那多挣点面子。不可否认鹿子霖在白鹿原的贡献，但也做尽了荒唐事，田小娥的起因也大都因为鹿子霖。
田小娥这个鲜活的形象也代表着无数反抗封建枷锁的女性。田小娥在最美好的年纪却被卖给了一个70岁的举人当工具，如果不是尊严被践踏，田小娥就不会选择跟黑娃走，虽然黑娃给了她一段“美好的婚姻生活”，但也是因为黑娃把她一个人留在白鹿原，让鹿子霖有了控制田小娥的机会。
不管是含恨而终的田小娥，受尽讥讽受活寡的冷秋月，亦或者是白嘉轩前面死去的六任妻子，对大多数女性来说，她们身上都有着一张无法挣脱的网。
这本书是两家族之间的恩怨史，也是一部浓缩的民族史。心怀远志的鹿兆鹏，传统保守的鹿三，劣根觉醒的鹿兆谦（黑娃），清醒智慧的朱先生。也让我们了解到了人的多面性和人性的困境。

Ótimo livro, referência para se mergulhar na história da China do início do século XX. Todavia, sofre muito com algo que costuma me incomodar quando leio épicos: o fluxo temporal. Algumas coisas, por vezes fatos importantíssimos para o enredo, que demoram anos para ocorrer, acontecem rápido demais, se passando em duas ou três páginas.

After reading "The plain of White Deer", I close the thick book, in front of my eyes, I can still see all of the lively characters in the book. The story took place in a small Chinese village called the white deer plain, the author narrated the village's tragic experiences and history to show a nation's history and culture. From the subversion of the decadent Qing government to the establishment of the new regime of the People's Republic of China, the book demonstrated this grand historical background and both of its bright and dark side. This novel reflected to the darkest aspects in our vicious nature and our society, it really left us with a question of the containment of our savageness within. I would highly recommend this book to young adults who is up for a challenge for a really deep book.

关中百姓起名字的艺术可谓是独树一帜 男娃和女子的名字风格迥异 各有所长 男娃的名字如 牛犊 马驹 骡驹 黑娃 兔娃 勺娃 芒娃 三娃 洒脱和不羁之余又有严丝合缝的精确 用一两个字即概括了某娃的特点 难度可想而知 大俗即大雅 这种摒弃了生辟词藻 褪去了深奥寓意而直面生命和大自然的名字才是好名字 闻名如见人 使我不禁琢磨起葫芦娃的故乡。而另一方面，女孩的名字则从骨子里透出一股仙气 仙草 田小蛾 白灵 这分明都是金庸笔下女侠的名字。
白鹿原这篇小说人物塑造很朴实 大多数的人物性格界限并不分明 就连作为对立面的白嘉轩和鹿子霖也是我中有你 你中有我。但这种写法却让人觉得很真实。白嘉轩就像那一坨土地一样，一辈子从未改变。更可贵的是他活得自由，不论外界环境怎样的变化，他从未动摇过自己的坚持 得势不张扬 失势也不胆怯，腰板儿就是直 与其形成对比的是鹿子霖，他终其一生精于算计 顺势则起 逆势则伏 绝对算得上是个聪明人 可以称得上是当地的西门大官人，也是干女儿遍地。如果说白嘉轩是大风大浪中的一块礁石的话，鹿子霖就是风浪中的老司机。他疯掉的原因书上虽然没有直接指出，可我觉得应该是他死也想不明白为什么自己把每一件事都计划的周全可到头来还是落得个一场空。可见人算不如天算，特别是在那样一个动荡的年代。
现在回味起来让我印象最深的人是白孝文，他可以算是腹黑的经典模版。我本以为他会死在那个牛坑中，哪知道后来又飞黄腾达起来，这不能不说有些牵强。孝文的崛起纯属剧情需要 作用有两个： 一是给黑娃的死平添一抹悲剧色彩，更让人唏嘘，二是揭露一下当今有些官员的本质以及他们的发迹史。至于田小蛾，小蛾就像是野草，随风飘荡，外表柔弱但生命力顽强。她的所作所为虽然为人所不齿，但都是为了生存。在那个年代，女人只有依附于男人才能才能生存下去。而小蛾的境遇逼着她只有出卖自己的肉体给不同的男人才能活下去。
至于陆家长子鹿兆鹏也有一些特点，写作手法中有一点神秘主义。兆鹏身为共党，行迹如同鬼魅 国民党无论如何也掌握不了他的行踪，而他却常常在不经意间出现在别人家里，撂下几句让人捉不着头脑的话便飘然离去，而这些话往往起着剧情转折的作用，剧终了也不知道他最后去了哪。这种设定让我很有点接受不了，因为这影响了剧情的流畅性。
另一个使我更纳闷的人物是朱先生。朱先生简直就是诸葛亮再生，事事皆洞明。往往是因为他的某句至理名言，令某人醍醐灌顶，然后某人才能作出正确决定。朱先生虽然是当世大儒，想必是不耽误其儒道兼修，是太上老君转世的事实吧。但其实这个角色与整篇小说的基调极为不符。小说的基调其实是土黄色的，而朱先生则是金闪闪的。就像污浊的小便池配着锃亮的不锈钢管道。从他一眼识破白鹿到最后的仙逝，只要他一出场，我顿时就像读起了三国演义。作者对这个角色的喜爱是不言自明的。判断作者对一个角色是喜欢还是讨厌，看他对这个角色死相的安排就行。朱先生死时那么的安详，几乎可以算得上是死相完美了。死后几十年还能将小红卫兵们一军，道行实在是深。可见作者心中圣人的模样就如朱先生了。再看看小蛾的死，蛆虫满身，可以推断出作者对她肯定是极为厌恶的。我觉得作者一旦对某一角色有偏袒，小说便会跑偏，如朱先生这一人设，在剧中不可谓不重要，可是要是去掉他也无伤大雅。
无论在什么年代，生活中有无数股力量冲击着人们做人的底线。内在的，外来的，有意的，无意的，善意的，恶意的。而人们往往在这些力量下一再降低底线，因为只有降低了底线，才更容易做人，欲望才更容易得到满足，毕竟为什么一定要玩hard mode呢？然而降低了底线便会丢失了一些东西，可是它们又有什么可贵的呢？就像白孝文，不要脸了下体便能竖起来，自己的老子又算什么？可谁知他这么一竖祸根便从此种下，最可恶的是这祸根不仅仅只为自己种下，更牵连着许多无辜的人。悲剧的开始往往是君子遇到小人。但是说到底人这种东西只不过是地球上生物进化的产物，所谓的思维，知觉，感情，以及各种主义等等只不过是大脑里的随机的化学反应和电流作用的产物，我相信人与动物没有本质上的区别。那么什么是对什么是错说到底便是虚无的，没有任何依据的，甚至带有欺骗性的。既然人是被迫带到这个世界上的，那么人就应该赋予自己活着的意义。有些人信奉并且效仿圣人，我们把这类人称之为君子，有些人欣赏西门庆和潘金莲，我们把他们称之为小人。人应该有所相信，有所坚持，也即所谓的自由，我觉得这是人与禽兽的最大区别。而在这一点上白嘉轩是做到了，所以他是正面人物，他一生从不动摇，坚持做自己。而鹿子霖没有做到，他的一生只热衷于搞倒，搞臭白嘉轩，所以他是反面人物。然而不幸的是这投机取巧的基因片断从刘邦老儿那会就已经深深注入汉族人的体内，很难甩掉。
最后一点小小的发现。作家对于屎好像有特殊的情结。鹿子霖的屎尿结成的黄蜡蜡的冰块让我至今记忆犹新，这一笔对屎的描写较王小波的笔法更传神。之前读的檀香刑中也有许多对屎的描写，让我印象最深的莫过于狐仙送给眉娘的神药。我对中药再怎么不信，这一剂药不得不承认它绝对会药到病除。屎这个东西的特殊性在于，不论岁月如何蹉跎，沧海怎么桑田，屎永远是一件从人身上掉下来的而人却不愿承认是自己的东西。作家描写屎其实用意非常单纯，就是为了触动人心中的那根虚伪的弦。作家写小说就像在编曲，人读书就像是在按谱演曲，这乐器也就是人身上的弦。当然了人身上绝不止这一根弦，人下半身的那根弦就更不必提了，作家浮夸地写性有时候也就是为了拨弄那根弦而已。

多年前读过，电视剧热播后重读，完全不同的感受。单说文字，早年觉得粗俗，现今觉得细腻，甚至觉得关中一带的地方语言竞有一丝文言文的典雅。比如，小娥说：“鹿相，你款款吃”，这“款款”比起我们通常的“慢慢”古色古香很多，又有了西北味儿，去过或来自西北的朋友，读起来都倍觉亲切。 整本书共三十四章，作者以白家和鹿家两大家族三代的恩怨纷争为线索，从小老百姓的视角去经历、去体验那些从清未民初到建国之初半个世纪里历史事件，有着令人震憾的真实感，引发人们对每一次历史事件的反思。说这本书是一部经典传世佳作，一点不为过。

La historia transcurre en una aldea ubicada en las afueras de mi ciudad, por eso culturalmente me resulta muy cercana. La obra tiene múltiples protagonistas, cada uno retratado con una vitalidad extraordinaria y un lenguaje que encarna perfectamente sus rasgos. Los conflictos se desarrollan en múltiples capas: luchas de clases sociales, la dignidad de la mujer, sentimientos patrióticos, valores nacionales e incluso dilemas familiares. Me encanta esta forma de narrar, donde a través de personajes comunes y corrientes de una aldea insignificante, se logra explorar la naturaleza humana y reflejar la sociedad.

少年时读不太懂为什么此书有如此高的评价，而今再读却是深受感动，作者用通俗的语言传达了很多至深的人生哲理。
书中人物各有特点，若说欣赏，黑娃鹿兆谦算一个。他的经历坎坷，做土匪期间行事虽显粗鲁，但是做人的正理他始终也没有丢，及至后来寻知书达理的姑娘为妻、拜朱先生为师、好学做人，在做人上件件走在了白孝文一类人的前面。若说丑陋，鹿子霖、田福贤、白孝文等用衣冠禽兽来形容也不为过，在国家面临危难当头，也不忘个人私利，并且在成为县官儿之后趾高气扬，对曾经让自己丢过脸面的人一律追究到底。只可惜这类人即使在现时的中国也不乏其人，甚是可悲。朱先生在书一开始便说过，人最在乎的无外乎身前荣和身后名。鹿、田、白一类人过于追求身前荣连最基本的做人行事准则都破了。。。话说回来，白鹿原里面人物的各式命运和国家命运以及他们生活的环境息息相关，很多时候也有身不由己，比如田小娥、鹿兆鹏最初的媳妇。我向来认为一个人的行为是他自身的基因和外界环境的共同作用，这在任何时候任何地点都不例外，包括曾经的白鹿原。
朱先生在书中是神一般的存在，行事也是颇有风度。这就是当时的读书人，虽有迂腐却不失可爱。谨以黑娃给朱先生的挽联纪念：“自信平生无愧事，死后方能对青天”。

好好活着！活着就要记住，人生最痛苦最绝望的那一刻是最难熬的一刻，但不是生命结束的最后一刻；熬过去挣过去就会开始一个重要的转折，开始一个新的辉煌历程；心软一下熬不过去就死了，死了一切就都完了。
世事你不经它，你就摸不准它。世事就是俩字：福祸。凡遇好事别张狂，张狂过头了后面就有祸了；凡遇祸的时光也别乱套，忍着忍着，哪怕咬着牙也得忍着受着，忍过了受过了好事就跟着来了。
世上有许多事，尽管看得清清楚楚，却不能说出口来。有的事看见了认准了，必须说出来；有的事至死也不能说。能把握住什么事必须说，什么事不能说的人，才是真正的男人。

人，都是在被时代推着走
人哇哇大哭着来到世上，因为是被老天一脚从天上踹下来受苦，所以明眼人受苦都想得开
白鹿原成了烙锅盔的鏊子。无论时代如何变，最活跃最聒噪的永远是那一批人。
有人一时得势，但没有人是永远的赢家。得意时不要张狂，失意时也不要气馁。
越是艰难困苦的时刻，越要好好活着，熬着。

——"A novel is considered to be the secret history of a nation."
The first edition of " White Deer Plain " was released in 1993. It used the stage of White Deer Village on White Deer Plain in the Guanzhong area of Shaanxi Province as a stage and shows the historical scrolls from the early years in the 20th century to the seventies in the 20th century.
Chen Zhongshi, born in Xi'an, Shaanxi in 1942, died in 2016. Representative works: "White Deer Plain", "Village", "Four Sisters" and so on.
The beginning of the novel has a certain fantasy color. Bai Jiaxuan's fate conflicts with his wife. The plant in the slope is transformed into a real white deer. It is inaccurate to say that the Chinese have no faith or worship. Most of us believe in Confucianism and worship ancestors.
A writer only writes vividly about his familiar life and writes realistically about the characters he has seen. As for the prototype of the story and the prototype of the characters, I don't think it's necessary to investigate. Even if these things didn't happen to Bai Jiaxuan or Lu Zilin, it probably happened to someone else. Therefore, the reader feels that the story of the work is true and that the characters in the work carry the shadow of someone around them.
Most people are easy to accept what is visualized, but resist accepting what is abstract. So, storytelling is one of the best educational methods. I think the difference between pure entertainment works and valuable works is that the only goal of entertainment works is to make people happy, while readers know clearly that such people and such things are contrary to the logic of reality.
So, when we finished watching AV in Japan, some romantic dramas in South Korea, and online novels in China, we were greatly satisfied. But we also knew that this was impossible in real life. When we finished watching Pride and Prejudice, we knew that we and the people around us often made mistakes made by Darcy and Elizabeth, thus promoting the process of introspection.

In the era of farming, if even ordinary farmers can abide by such simple family management principles, then the folk customs are generally honest. The hope of a nation and a country lies in its minors. What kind of education a minor has received will determine where they will lead this nation and country in the future and how they will educate their next generations.
Bai Jiaxuan's parents are willing to pay all the savings to make their son get married. This reflects the Chinese's extreme attachment to lineage succession. From the fact that many young people are forced to marry by their parents, it can be seen that this kind of thinking still has a large number of supporters today, but the current family structure has changed from a large family to a small family, and the parents have little binding force on their children. When it comes to the middle of this century, this kind of thinking should be even weaker.
A person ’s own life is limited in length and width, and he cannot step into two rivers at the same time. But he can see the living conditions of other people in time and space through books. In the beginning, what attracted him was stories that made him feel strange. But in the end, he was usually impressed by various characters who were active on the historical stage. This makes the reader have a deeper understanding of human nature.
What is the significance of this realization? I think it probably makes us live more clearly. "The Analects of Confucius," says, "Only the wisest men and the most ignorant man are unchangeable." Most people are in between, so they are suffering. If we don't plan to walk in the direction of foolishness, then we will walk towards the goal of wisdom.

电视剧版《白鹿原》里，白嘉轩和朱先生从清兵大营回来，朱先生问：“对你来说最重要的是什么”，白嘉轩想也没想：“地”。的确啊，在书里我感觉到了庄稼人对土地的情感，他们来自土地也要回归土地。读的时候我不止一次地希望，不要再出什么乱子了啊，大家就这样种自己的地不好吗？这个愿望就被一次又一次地打破。朝代更替，恩恩怨怨，一代一代人来了，做了好事也做过坏事，让人敬佩也还让人厌恶也罢，最终都要回归土地，静静地看天下风起云涌。 个人认为此书是中国现代小说中最好的一本。

只认为在民国时期，加入共产党也不是， 加入国民党也不是。 悲惨的全是我们的百姓。
朱先生“世人皆醉，我独醒”的姿态让我钦佩。
看了书后又看了电影，感觉电影全拍“田小娥” 去了。画面倒是蛮淳朴，蛮吸引我的。
总之，电影远不及书。

Here are my meta-thoughts about how to read such books:
Starting point) There are two possible mentality that can feel it difficult when reading stories like this:
Possible audience 1: Many people are used to reading non-fictions, such as Poor Economics [My Review] which introduces the actual situation of poor people and common mentalities. When they encounter a novel that is just in the form of a story, they feel that (a) this is unreal, what am I expected to get out of it? and (b) this is only one story, and induction (inferring a pattern from one example) can be erroneous.
Possible audience 2: More people enjoy reading fictions and enjoy the journey together with the story. A story being a story brings them fun.

Benefits of reading books like this) This novel is created based on the author's observation of real-world phenomena. There are several features of composing the context.
The baseline is to do the documentary / journalism / case study way, recording real stories, such as What I Have Seen.
Creating novels based on real-world patterns has the following pros and cons:
Pros)
- The author can compile a high density of events together in one story, and this arrangement can stimulate the readers to capture the pattern better and more easily.
- By wrapping up things in fictions and metaphor, the author can avoid attack from censorship, to some extent.
- There are way more readers that are in the type 2 audience above, so wrapping the factual patterns in stories might be the only way to bring these concepts to them, otherwise they wouldn't read such books at all.
- The artistic effect of the literature can strengthen the ridiculous-ness, e.g., Animal Farm [My Review].
Cons) When the author is not capable enough to capture the laws behind what is happening in the real-world society, then the novel can be misleading.

What can readers do) Books, in essence, are about information passing. It is a collaboration between authors and readers. After the authors put the above efforts, the readers should try their best to "decode" the message that the authors want to send along.
Caution) I should take care of my induction process, and do not overgeneralize. One way is to find similarity of this story with other facts I observe in real world or history. Another way is to reason and check the validity of the patterns I extract.
In the meantime, feel free to set free our sensors, and over-generate some hypothesized patterns. We can filter them later on.

不知为何，如此大篇幅的作品却缺乏应有的沧桑感与沉重感。作者的讲故事能力不错，人物塑造也鲜活，但总感觉缺少一些应有的元素。

绝对是五星！简评八个字：荡气回肠，史诗叙事。勾勒的是具体可感的关中群像，每一个人物都让人又爱又恨，毫不扁平。时代幕布之下，各方势力倾轧，太多的经典桥段呈现的是逝去的宗族与真文人风骨，还有记忆中的民俗，陈老追溯的是或然的历史，即便不是“真相”，却也呈现出最好的“乡土文学”风貌。
