I must have read a copy of the manuscript. The copy I read was in English and was not hardcover; it was printed on 8.5 x 11 paper. I read it during the mid-to-late-1970s. I got it from a friend who was acquainted with Patrick Flanagan. I was fascinated by the subject. I even tried an experiment with a hand-made pyramid of my own, following the directions in the book. I made it out of cardboard from writing tablets. I put a piece of carrot under the pyramid for a week or so and left another piece next to but outside the pyramid. The one outside shrank and shriveled, while the one under the pyramid did not deteriorate as much. I told my friend, a physicist, and showed him the results. The air under the pyramid was also warmer. That could be due to factors other than the shape of the pyramid.
Fascinating topic and very interesting studies. I am currently duplicating one of the experiments to see if a razor stays as sharp for a longer period of time. The end of the book focuses on the scientific theories, which I found confusing and difficult to get through, but overall really enjoyed the content.
