I picked this up for a few laughs but it turned out to be actually quite reasonable. Seems like a guide for those with a bit more money (where finding themselves in a private jet is actually an expected occurrence), but an entertaining read nonetheless. Has some really inspired metaphors.
Read this book based solely on other people's reviews. It has some good advice in certain areas, but contained mostly fluff that someone younger and not as cynical as myself would appreciate. Just saying.
3.5 Stars really! Some chapters were about possible events unlikely to occur in my social circle such as attending the polo. But I enjoyed the section about conduct in the work place. Etiquette is something I am always trying to develop and improve!
Picked it up as a novelty gift for a niece. So of course I flicked through it. I got it as a joke (not sure how often she will sup with royalty or play polo) but the strange part is most of it was good advice. Wonder what she will look at it at all or just be happy that it was given with another present.
Gorgeous book ! I think its beautiful and would make a lovely gift for any teenager daughter/niece someone special ..its modern and yet quirky and old fashioned too ...5 stars.
