This wonderful biography follows Lanza's career as a movie star and a recording artist. With mentions of specific albums and recordings the writer seems to be encouraging you to run out and buy them all which after reading this book you'll want to. A great book for anyone interested in knowing about Mario Lanza and about his life and career.

The author has definitely done a lot of research but the content is too impersonal and clinical. The reader is left wanting a sense of the man as a father, husband and friend. This is mostly a chronology of his career.
