I’m not going to lie. I’m not a huge fan of when an author goes back and forth between Past and Present Events. But somehow this powerhouse team managed to pull it off flawlessly.

Wow this was just intense! Bound by Willow Winters and Lauren Landish was complete deviant filthy passion that became more alluring due to the nail biting suspense and soulful emotions. Gabriel and Kiersten's love story was dark, sinful and epic at every level!

This story goes back and forth in timeline as we follow Gabriel and his sub Kiersten's journey to happily ever after. It all started with extravagant auctions at an exclusive sex club..but they got Bound to each other beyond contract. But then something tragic happened and Gabriel had to disappear to protect her.Twenty years have passed. Now Kiersten is Madam Lynn who runs her own club. Gabriel thinks it's safe to return but it may be wrong..

Gabriel checks every box in my list. Richer than God. Dominating. Possessive. Protective. There is something about a man who controls everything but his woman can get him uncontrolled. I loved the way he claimed Kiersten and played with her body and heart so beautifully. No woman can resist such a man..submission to him is heavenly. No wonder Kiersten fell in love with him. But that dangerous incident separated them. And all those years just intensified their craving for each other. As soon as they meet again, it was explosions and fireworks instantly. But the sex wasn’t enough for Kiersten to let him in. She is confident and fierce. Gabriel kept secrets. He is powerful but he had a difficult time to take down the enemy after them and it almost caused them everything. It was fast paced and I loved the suspense component. It was hotter than h3ll but I also felt the power of their emotional connection and that made it an even more enjoyable read.

Not the best one in the series to start with 😅 It was really well written don't get me wrong and I'll definitely be continuing with the series but damn did I feel like I was pushed out of an airplane with this one. We don't really get any build up for the relationship - their first meeting isn't touched on until over halfway through and the meat of the story is really just... sort of melancholy.

We switch really often between past and present with the past being the main part of the book. Unfortunately, it doesn't go in chronological order. We start months into the relationship and I didn't really get any sort of introduction to their first moments together. Which was sad. I'm a tension girl so not having that definitely disappointed me.

I love that they decided to go with Madam Lynn’s story in this book. We see her in the other books, but never know much about her. She’s helped many subs and doms find their happiness, all while she had been searching for hers, Gabriel. The fact that these two spent 20 years apart and turned into different people that their love for each other didn’t fade.

“She’s still my every fantasy, not just because she’s a vision but because of every little piece of her that’s been etched into my soul.”

I’ve only read the first (bought) in this series, but this one was on a whole other level. This book, although completely different stories, reminded me of Broken, also by Willow. Both books had my heart beating but also in a few moments, reaching for tissues. This was a beautiful story, filled with the right amount of spice and suspense.

“This is what I want. More than the money or the jewels or the gifts, I just want him to want me. I want this man. I need him.”

“Mine” and “protect”
This describes Kiersten and Gabriel perfectly. They are so devoted to each other. They love each other beyond anything and to protect one another, they are ready to k.i.l.l.

I’m not a big fan of books going back and forth with time but with Kiersten and Gabriel’s story it was enjoyable. It was good to know how their Sub/Dom relationship looked like and how invested they were during that time before they had to part ways.

Gabriel started a new life hiding from old one and Kiersten (with shadow of Gabriel inside her heart and mind) runs Club X.

And after they met again - imagine my shock when I read it was 20 years later - it’s still there. The heat, love, desire, possession.

Highest Bidder - Bound. The blurb for this is insane! Go check it out, add to you TBR!! It sucked me right in!!

Gabriel & Kiersten. The two meet with Kiersten being auctioned off at a sex club. She is a Sub looking to pay off debts and he is a Billionaire Dom. He buys her for a month, and in that time he helps unlock parts of her she was looking to explore. What she enjoys, her limits, how to please her and more. A lot of this is set in or around the club and is spicy AF so if thats not what youre looking for - keep scrolling. You will not be disappointed though. It includes degrading/praise, sharing, BDSM..
We get a now/then timeline over 20years and its all in dual POV. Its easy to follow though. Kiersten falls for Gabriel, but because of contracts it never goes any further. One evening changes everything and these two are forced apart. Years later he comes back to her and its as if no time has passed, but the past has a funny way of catching up to you.. This is a quick, fast paced read. The plot twist I did see coming as things progressed in the book but was so so clever how it all came together. The suspense!! There is a HEA too dont worry.

This is the 5th in a series. Its the first Ive read and Im sure ive seen theyre all standalones. Thankfully, I didnt feel like I was missing any storyline. But I am wanting to go back and read the others now.

Bound has the perfect mix of intrigue, suspense & passion filled with heartfelt emotion.

Gabriel never got over losing Kiersten or his love for her. The journey they had to take to find their way back to each other after years of absence, with love in their hearts that still burns is not an easy one. It’s filled with passion, chemistry & ultimately romance - everything I want in a good book.

Bound was fast paced that kept me gripped from beginning to end.
The way the author’s weaved the story & characters pull you in from the very beginning.

It hurts my soul to rate this one so low. But damn man. What was that?

We finally get the long awaited romance of Madam Lynn aka Kiersten and Gabriel. I did enjoy that this sort of 'second chance' romance was between two people in their 40s. You don't often get to see that.
But man o man did this one feel rushed.

I remember back before I even read book 2 onward in the Highest Bidder series, I got a little email on Willow Winters email list with a scene from this book; and it was a sharing scene. I got so excited and decided I must get through all of these books to read this one; the first one to have a sharing scene (and I once again have the thought that it was very similar to Maya Banks's Sweet Temptation especially Micah's football game party); so I knew I would probably love this book.

However; upon completion I realized that scene truly was a bonus (at the end of the novel) and the sharing scene and kinks I thought would be present in this novel we're used as a plot device as the catalyst for Gabriel and Kiersten's whole relationship.

I did enjoy how strong Kiersten was but Gabe choosing to lie to her about her potential safety did not sit well with me and it was too easily brushed over. This story felt rushed, it felt like Winters and Landish didn't exactly know what to do with the sharing scene and the relationship between them. I expected a strong maybe bratty vibe from Kiersten due to her strong nature in Club X but was disappointed that we had yet another basic submissive (which I am not against but this series is starting to feel repetitive).

And my other big complaint was the past and future and jumping back and forth between these two timelines. It felt rushed and not planned out. Like, why couldn't the sharing scene have fit in sooner; the main sharing scene present in the novel is a borderline rape and I hated that it became the whole catalyst for them separating.

I may or may not read this one again in my re-read because I just felt so frustrated by the plot of the novel, it was so obvious - painfully so. I found myself rolling my eyes in the end half of the novel unfortunately.

Plot - 1/5 - Yeah sorry, this one did not do it for me. It may work for you, especially if you like more focus on the romance storyline; but Gabe's unwillingness to let Kiersten be aware of what he knows pissed me the fuck off.
Characters - 2/5 - I'd be pissed in Kiersten's shoes. Also; it would be nice to have a story like this where the girl doesn't need to be legitimately saved from being murdered at the end.
Setting - 2.5/5 - decent built enough that I have a clear enough vision of what's going on
The Spice - 2.5/5 - not worth it.

*The best part in my opinion was when they see each other again for the first time. I may re-review this in the future after another read.

The 5th book in this series and is a standalone - I haven't read the others but didn't feel like I was missing out on something in this one by not reading them, apart from wanting to read the rest of the series I had missed!

This was a good read, quite quick really, revolving around BDSM and a sex club, very hot and steamy including bondage, sharing, kink, praise, degradation, etc., so be sure this is your thing before you get stuck in!

Gabriel and Kiersten meet at a sex club where she is being auctioned off for a month, she is a new young submissive wanting to learn her limits and test her boundaries. Gabriel is the experienced billionaire Dom, something clicks between them and he wins the auction for her. They have fun exploring what works for her, growing close, she wants nothing more than to be owned by him, but loves to be shared around, but with him in charge of what is going on. A few months go by with him buying her every month to continue what they have, until one night changes all that, and he ends up having to leave her..... and not returning for 20 years.

Told from dual points of view over a 20 year period, where we go back and forth along the timeline learning what has happened. The past has a way of catching up with you and in this someone has learned their secret and is out for revenge. The plot twist was quite easy to work out, but I enjoyed the whys behind it all. I would definitely go back and read the others in this series.

A bit gutted that I didn't have time to read the rest of this series beforehand, even though this can be read as a complete standalone and I didn't really feel like I was missing anything by not having read them.

I'm not 100% sure if this couple already had a book though, as this is more of a second chance romance. So, I don't know whether they have one which shows how they initially got together. As at some points i did think they might.

Whilst I did guess who the culprit was, this kept me engaged -although I will admit to enjoying the first half of the book more than the second. I was looking forward to finding out more from both the part, and the present. Sometimes when a book has time jumps, I can get a bit annoyed when you're just about to find something out and it swaps to a different time, even though that's what it's supposed to do lol.

And I liked how the BDSM element was played out. I thought it was done really well and not just thrown in to say it was a BDSM book.

Will definitely be wanting to go back and read the others, especially because i have the special edition Kickstarter version of the compendium for books 1-4!

This book was beautifully written. I loved the writing style, the storyline, the storytelling, and the depth that was put into the characters, it made it enjoyable to read. This is my first book I’ve read by these authors and they didn’t disappoint.

I loved Gabriel he was amazing and reading about him and getting to know him made the story interesting. I loved his relationship with Kiersten understanding their dynamic was so interesting though I’m not into sharing that much i loved seeing him so possessive and obsessive over her and allowing her to have her fun a explore new things.

And Kiersten holds my heart i loved reading about her and understanding what she likes and dislikes and seeing how their relationship progressed was so wholesome.

If you guys love reading about second chance romances with lots of spice then this book’s for you. It comes out on February 7th so add it to your tbr and don’t forget to check TWs.

I always know I’m going to get one exciting thrilling book when these two outstanding authors come together. Both are fantastic writers individually and when they combine forces they knock it out the ballpark.
The story is written in duel points of view.
And spans through twenty years.
Revealing past and present and how things came to be made everything that just more thrilling and edgy.
The authors welcome us back to Club X. And to Madame Lynn.
This is her story of how she became to be who she is.
Her and her Dom Gabriel had an intense relationship.
But tragedy struck and they are torn apart.
Now two decades later they are brought together again.
Gabriel is a Dom through and through. He’s possessive and protective and always in control.
Except when it comes to Kiersten.
I loved the way he was with Kiersten.
The way he gives her what her body wants and needs is beautiful and insanely hot.
All the years apart has diminished nothing between them. Quite opposite actually their craving and desire for each other has intensified more.
As soon as they meet again explosions and fireworks instantly ignite!
But for Kiersten the physical wasn’t enough anymore.
This fierce and confident woman wants more. She wants his heart and soul. All or nothing.
A fast paced action filled book. And most definitely a pager turner!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "BOUND" OMG!!! What a phenominal mind-blowing intense, riviting dark rollercoaster ride, action packed, full of angst, mystery, suspense, scorching hot scenes, betrayal, secrets, lies, danger, murder, twists & surprises you didn't see coming.
Gabriel & Kiersta's story started at the elite Club for only certain circles that were members, she was Auctioned off to the Highest Bidder, being a sub needing money to pay off debts, he's a Billionaire Dom who has everything but never thought he'd fall in love she was perfect for him even more than he imagined with dark secrets of her own.
Gabe & Kierstan's relationship goes no further than the contracts she wants more, one tragic night changes everything for them tearing them apart for years, waiting for him to return that when dangerous things start happening.
I definitely recommend to this riviting, on the edge of your story that grips you to the end, will Gabriel & Kiersten get a HEA.
Kiersten so much changed in the years Gabriel was gone she's now Madam Lynn co-owner of Club X with Joshua who is Gabe's BF, they aren't the same people they once were, someone wants one or both of them dead, will they find out who before its to late.

These Fox brothers don’t disappoint in any areas especially with the dirty talking! Finneas (Finn) Fox is one of the brothers of Cash Fox from the first book of The Fox Family Crime Syndicate series. The badass female in this book is Euphemia (Effie) Luciano & when I tell you she is able to hold herself up to these men, it’s impressive. She definitely needs to work out being more sneaky with certain things, but overall she holds her own. Now when it comes to them together the sparks fly between Finn & Effie even when they were younger & it wasn’t so messy between families. I was wrapped around this book from the start, all the intense moments & spicy scenes had me hardly putting it down incase it was urgent. Effie’s father is a real piece of work, which honestly what do you expect with his background, but damn the shit she went through with him made my heart hurt. I absolutely loved the back & forth that went on between Finn & Effie, it had me laughing even after I was crying towards the end. They were seriously the best duo & completed each other especially with they special piercing Mr. Finneas Fox had! Definitely a must read, definitely read the triggers & get ready to be sucked in to the Fox Family!! 😉

Gabriel and Kiersten have not seen each other in around 20 years after a tragic event separated them. In the past Gabriel and Keirsten were in a Dom/Sub relationship but it was nothing permanent. Keirsten was falling for him, and he had feelings but wanted to be carefree. They both got what they were wanting from that relationship until they were forced apart by a situation. 20 years later Keirsten has become Madam Lynn and runs Club X. Every day she struggles with still thinking about Gabriel and wondering if he will ever come back. When he thinks it's safe, he returns to her and then the adventure begins. These two have so much passion for each other it melts your heart. There are struggle because after 20 years they are both different people. When the past comes back to haunt them you see them struggle to find their way when Gabriel hides things from Kiersten. This book was a great read and will keep you interested you do get to go back to the past to find out what happened to separate these two and it will keep you captivated until the end. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.

Wow this was one hot and intense read. The characters were great hot and steamy. The plot had a bit of suspense and mystery it was so riveting even intense at times. The characters Kiersten and Gabriel had amazing chemistry together the fireworks kind for sure they sizzled when together. So many hot and sexy scenes with fan worthy characters.

This story draws you right into the characters world and the authors made it feel like you were living in their world live and in person. We loved that about the story the most.

We loved this one! From the moment you met Kiersten and Gabe you know they were made for one another but, we also knew hearts would be broken. This love story was sad and tragic and our heart went out to the characters especially Kiersten because she was so deeply in love never really got the closure she needed and then having to always to stay in the shadows must have been awfully lonely. We will say that we also love stories like this that a love like theirs stood the test of time. Will the sacrifices made in the past be enough to forgive the past and forge a future? Only time will tell...

A brilliant story that spans over 20 years and is written in dual POV from our two main characters, Kiersten and Gabriel.

This story flicks back to the past and present, I love that this flows perfectly and really brings the story together because I've read books like this before and the flick between past and present confuses me sometimes and I'm forever having to go back and re-read but I never had to with this book.

Gabriel and his sub Kiersten are bound to one another after he buys her at the extravagant auctions that take place at the sex club, but something tragic happens one night and Gabriel has to make a tough decision one that will change both of their lives forever. Twenty years have now passed and Gabriel is back in Kiersten's life, although she is now known as Madame Lynn who owns her own club, Club X. When the past starts to catch up to them can Gabriel keep Kiersten safe? Was it a good idea for Gab to turn up in her life again?

Honestly this was such a good story one I got lost in , both authors kept the story flowing and the flick between the characters and the past and present was very well written.

This is the 5th story in the Highest Bidder Series with Kiersten and Gabriel a Dom who bids on Kiersten to be his sub for a month. Gabriel is excited with how well she takes to this new world and he renews her contract each month bidding the highest each time. One moment their story is in the present then it goes to their past. These two have a natural relationship with genuine respect and love for one another so when tragedy strikes, Gabriel does whatever he can to protect Kiersten and he ends up disappearing for 20 years. Kiersten is devastated and moves to a new city reinventing herself as Madam Lynn creating her own club with the highest regard for all the subs and doms. When Gabriel shows up one random day their lives seem to pick up where they left off even as different people, proving their love never went away. As they rebuild their lives it seems someone with knowledge of the past starts to cause them problems. When Kiersten is taken Gabriel knows he needs to find her before she’s gone forever. Getting their happiness is hard won and one they cherish.

This was a little different than what I was expecting. Since i haven’t read the other four books in the Highest Bidder series, i really didn’t know what i was going to be reading. Since it is a BDSM book and just by reading the blurb I thought it was going to be a very dark book but it was surprisingly really sweet. It was truly very well written I fell in love with the characters and the story. I have read some other books that were written by the author Willow winter and of course this book didn’t disappoint either.
This is a second chance romance between Kiersten and Gabriel. Loved the mystery since it kept me guessing till the end and couldn’t stop reading. Was kinda sad that it took them so long to get together, my heart was broken. But in the end it felt more special. Will definitely be reading the other books in the series and can’t wait to see if the other books are as amazing as this one.

Life has moved on for Kiersten. Club X is her future and the past, which included Gabriel and being his sub, was long gone but not forgotten. Those memories remained, even the painful ones. Work was work and Kiersten's job was to take care of Club X and the women she identified with, all too well, on a daily basis.
Gabriel had never been able to get over losing his sub. He disappeared because he had no choice. He didn't regret protecting Kiersten, but he did regret losing her. As they reconnect, the danger Gabriel fled becomes all too real. Especially now when Kiersten becomes a target.

Brilliant storyline!!! I absolutely loved this backstory on Madam Lynn and why she runs her club the way she does. This book kept me intrigued and engaged the entire time. These characters are captivating as well as unforgettable! It had been a while between books, but I highly recommend this series as a series that will definitely stay with you long after the last page!!! A MOST DEFINITE MUST READ!!!

This was a little different than what I was expecting and I'm so glad it was. I thought it was going to be a very dark book but it was surprisingly sweet. It was truly very well written I fell in love with the characters and the story.

This is a second chance romance between Gabriel and Kiersten. The boo goes back and forth between the past and present, which I usually don't enjoy, but in this book it was perfect. Even though they reunite 20 years later, from reading the past chapters, your able to see that the love they have for each other never went away.

Gabriel is the perfect man yall. He is Kiersten Dom and the way he took care of her had me melting. He was so understanding of her and her needs. He was willing to patiently help her learn what she likes and doesn't. HE WAS SO RESPECTFUL. It's very easy to see and understand how and why they fell in love.

There is also a little bit of suspense which added a little more entertainment to the story. This book definitely tugged at my heart strings wayyy more than I was expecting.

I received a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review. This is book 5 In the Highest Bidder Series. This was page turning, intense and sexy.
Kirsten, now called Madam Lynn, runs Club X, taking women and teaching them to be Subs to the Dom of her club. Twenty years ago she was a sub to Gabriel who she met at a club. After a tragedy occurred , Gabriel left to protect her. For twenty years she hasn’t moved on from him, the club has been her life.
When he unexpectedly returns, she realizes she loves him even more now than she did then. The secret from their past that should have been kept buried, has creeped back and has in her a lot of danger.
This was very fast paced, with suspense I didn’t anticipate. The spice was perfect and it had the HEA I was pining for. The shock towards the end I was not anticipating! This had me sucked in from the beginning and I definitely want to read the rest of the series now that I have touched my toes in this world!

This book is by far the best book in the series!

Ohhh!! How do I describe it?!?! This is a second chance romance.

Back then the devotion and love they had for each other. He made the choice to save her by leaving..

20 years later after she’s finally picked herself back up and has made something of herself.. she made something of herself by starting club x.

Want to know why she did it?!?! Nope.. wasn’t out of spite… it was out of the idea that he would return one day and she wanted him to not be disappointed in her. (Insert squeal)

As she starts to give up hope that he wasn’t going to return he did and the same love and devotion is there from the 20 years apart.
