Lovely illustrations and a fine version of the original. E.T.A. Hoffman tale. It's not to scary.

Nice illustrations and a straight forward telling of the Nutcracker. Focuses on the action parts of the story and less of the time in the Kingdom of Sweets.

I chose this particular version for our family because of the magnificent illustrations.
