As always, one of the best reference books for hiking in the Whites. As acknowledged by the author when I bought the book there are a few errors that occurred in publishing but none that would impact a trip.
The best guide for hiking in the White Mountains, and one of the better hiking guides in general. Hikers used to the White Mountain Guide don't realize how spoiled they are until they hike somewhere else and have to use a different guide and maps.
