I enjoyed hearing Sally Friedes (a native of my home state who spoke in Milwaukee) talk as much (if not more) than I enjoyed her book. I'm glad someone isn't afraid to share her voice!!!

Good look at how one converts from one faith to another.
Growth of one's faith and how one changes their mindset about things one holds fast too in life.

Heard the author on the radio. The Goodreads description of this book is one of the weakest I have seen. Go to Amazon for Editorial reviews and customer reviews for a better idea of what this book is about. A Catholic girl from Milwaukee finds unexpected hope in a new religion...

I really enjoyed this book, especially because Friedes went deeply into her conversion experience. Though she is married to a Jewish husband, she decides to convert of her own motives.

Journeyed with the author through her spiritual life and subsequent conversion. Great for those who love bios and investigating Judaism.
