Butcherface

Rate this book
It is a world of evil refrigerators, malformed freaks, rampaging monsters, and sadistic barbarians. Hideous predators stalk the landscape and only the most savage are able to survive. Out of the frozen north emerges Wulff, a killer whose merciless rage and fanatical worship of death will lead the entire planet on a march toward annihilation. His insatiable bloodlust drives him to eradicate all enemies, because after all, death is a bitch and he wants to fuck her brains out. Butcherface is a BIZARRO retelling of the medieval epic Beowulf. Listen to heavy metal and eat baby rabbits while reading it.

This is my second bizarro novella, aptly titled Butcherface. It is a weird take on the medieval classic, Beowulf, and believe me, literally buckets of blood were thrown into this book. It paints the walls and pours from orifices. Rivers of liquified flesh flow through the veins of this book. Its savagery foams at the mouth, because in this world, living is a burden and killing is an art. But while the guts do indeed fly, anyone who's ever read Beowulf will see that this story is highly faithful to the original tale (just with evil refrigerators).
