The sex was hot, but the story wasn't. I totally could have done w/o Brock. He should have been a crazy stalker the guys had to protect her from. Riley could have been more developed. I really wanted more Luke and Jett. I wanted a more developed plot too. I think a lot of text was wasted on repetition and could have be devoted to the danger/adventure aspect of the story. Overall ok.

This might actually be the worst book I've ever read. I refuse to even consider this a romance, because their relationship was so unhealthy, bordering on abusive. They even acknowledged this for her relationship with the oldest of them, but still continued.

Never buy this as audible. Pepper is a horrible narrator. Listening to her re a d ruined the book. Will read book because I really liked the story. Listening to it couldn't get through I'm mad

“Jett,” she mumbled as she walked passed him, “I’ll see what he wants.”
“I know what he wants,” he said sharply. “Kevin and Riley are talking to him now. I want to find out what he is to you.”

A Spanking Good Time that Y’all Should read!
This review is based on the first 3 books in this series as a whole. I found that each of these books help to lay the foundation for the rest of the series. Yes the first book is sexually graphic – it is a BDSM Erotic series with multiple partners, toys, spanking, etc. but it is done in a very classy & hot way. While there is no guy-on-guy play, all of the play is done with people who are consenting adults and the guys all love the gal as much as she loves them (even if they won’t come out and admit it!). Book 1 – Untamed Hearts - is Natalie’s first book, so as you read through the series you can see how much Natalie has grown as an author which I think is a really neat aspect that only adds to the charm of this series. Yes this book is a little “rough around the edges” and while this was not my favorite book, I found that even though it was lacking in some ways, it really helps to set the stage for the next books by explaining & detailing the whole Master-Sub-Slave relationship & the BDSM way of life. Book 2 – Unfinished Business really starts the main storyline for this series and gives you get a lot more detail into their business and organization called the Underground Unit. The sex & relationships are still there, but I feel that because the BDSM was explained in the first book, the focus can shift to the people, the missions and the relationships. While it does start with the death of one of their leaders, there is a lot more “meat” to the stories and it makes this such a fantastic read. Of course there are some secrets that come out along the way, but they only make this book even better. Be prepared to cry both sad and happy tears!! I was actually surprised with how much I enjoyed this book!!! Book 3 – Unsettled Debts continues the story of the Underground Unit. This time with a new team and their mission which has also come about due to the death of one of their own and the need for revenge. The difference with this book was that the men are not brothers and the gal is one of their own agents. They have been a team for 5+ years with no one crossing the professional/personal line. I liked this story even better than Unfinished Business because it wasn’t about brothers loving the same woman, there was no “weak little female” to love & protect – it was all about a group of men each coming to terms with their feelings regarding their fellow agent and the flip side of that with how Abby deals with all of “her” men! Overall I thoroughly enjoyed these three books and can’t wait to read the rest of the series!!

This was an accidental purchase, but I was not sorry I ended up with it. I've been reading a lot of this type of book but was disappointed in this one. IMHO I thought the dialogue was extremely choppy and was initially confused by the totally different directions of the first few chapters. The connections were very slow to come and I just can't imagine guys having these types of "girl chat" exchanges. It needed more STORY, not just conversations, although good back-and-forth repartee is necessary. The build up was too long and became almost boring but I think that might be a personal preference. I really didn't like the fact that the heroine (And taking on FIVE guys is heroic in my mind) was a virgin and therefore, wanted her first time to be with another virgin but yet had no qualms about becoming a part of their world as a group. Although I am not part of this lifestyle I have no objections to it. I just think there was not enough attention given to her decision and I guess I wanted a little more reluctance and maybe even more worry on her part about the actual first act and even dealing with the jealousies that might be involved in a multiple committed relationship. The point of view is very jumbled and not as well written as it could be. It seems sort of unbelievable to me that a virgin would be so well versed in the lifestyle. It's not a bad read - just less "classy" than other authors of this type.

I dare any women to spend time alone with the Donovan brothers, especially if you like your men hot, sexy, dangerous and exciting. Sydney Kane is about to find all that out and she not sure how she is going to handle the Donovan’s.
Sydney’s father, Sam and the Donovan father Mark are old friends and they both have very dangerous jobs. Sam has left the Donovan brothers in charge protecting her while he is a way. But what Sydney doesn’t know, is how far that protection goes.

Forced to move around by her father constantly to maintain her safety, Sydney is hard pressed to find friends let alone love. Always protected, never alone she breaks the rules and finds love where she is not supposed to. However she longs for something more and that something more is the Donovan brothers, all of them. What women doesn't fantasize about multiple lovers at some point in their lives.Nothing is what it seems to be and the heat coming from the characters is enough to make you turn up the air conditioning. Now throw in some BDSM, sex toys, some sexy cowboys that are total alpha Dom's and things start to sizzle. The story was good and I understand the Sub/Dom relationship,but I think Sydney was a little bit too submissive but It was not a book breaker. The story grabs you ,pulls you in and doesn't let go. This was an enjoyable, entertaining read with lots of action inside and out side of the bedroom.

Cowboy Boots and Untamed Hearts is full of desire, love, sex, deception, action, and suspense. What more could you want. Oh my, to be Sydney and have the devotion and love of these men...*fans face* They all have distinctive personalities and I could not pick one I loved more than the other; I can see why Sydney chose to have them all, then throw in Brock and his revelation. When danger looms the Donovan brothers will do everything in their power to protect the woman they love. I will admit I wasn't sure when I first began this book but I pushed on because I have loved everything else I have read from Natalie Acres, and boy am I glad I did. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Liked this book, it started out kinda choppy for me in the prologue but when the story began it all came together for me. I liked how she knew she loved each of them moat of her life all of them for their different personality. I loved how her master turned out to be the guys long lost brother. They all loved her their whole lives also, which I found very sweet. Their is a bit of action and some humor along with the great sex.

This is a hot read. A book worth reading. Sydney learned a lot from Master Brock regarding the D/s lifestyle. She has always wanted the Donovan brothers. Could her heart belong to all of them? I love how Sydney knows what she wants and is smart too. I really wanted to punch Mr. Donovan and Mr. Crane in the face for testing their respective children. I mean come on!!!!

March 7, 2013The fractured timeline in the beginning of the book was a little hard for me to follow. There was a lot of build up and foreplay, until I was almost screaming for them to finally have sex. But once they did it was hot hot hot. If you like hot sex with a lot of partners you'll enjoy this book.

I liked this book okay, but usually when I read books like this the brothers have already talked things through and worked out any jealousy issues they may have....That being said this book wasn't what I was expecting and didn't care for how the brothers reacted...
