Oh, HELL NO. Nope. Nope. Nope. I would write a healing epilogue about this one but I think I just need the brain bleach. There is so much more to HATE about this book.

He took her virginity when she was 17 and he was about to leave for Vietnam during the war there. He was her brother’s friend and it was just a one-night-stand with the h at his party.

The book starts after they haven’t seen each other for 15 years. 15 years is way too long and that just means that he hadn’t been really into her. He has lived in the same city as the h for a year but he hasn’t contacted her.

And if that isn’t bad enough, he says he has an 11-year old son with a Vietnamese woman.

So I DNF’ed at page 50.
