La versian castellana de la Biblia de Jerusalan, entre las versiones de las Sagradas Escrituras en nuestralengua, tiene un salido prestigio por la calidad de su traduccian y por la profundidad de sus introducciones, notas y comentarios, de tal manera que es muy atil parala formacian bablica tanto de seminaristas, Como de religiosos y laicos. Ahora ha querido dar un paso mas y es el de preparar una versian latinoamericana, con un lenguaje mas adaptado a nuestra manera de halar el castellano, sin perder el toque de elegancia ni la precisian terminolagica, y sin caer en los particularismos de una determinada regian delsubcontinente.

The Castilian version of Biblia de Jerusalan, among the versions of Holy Scripture in our language, has a solid prestige due to the quality of the translation and the depth of the introductions, notes and comments, and as such has been useful for the biblical formation of seminarians, religious and lay members. Now it has taken the next step to prepare a latin-American version, with the language adapted to our way of speaking Castilian Spanish, without losing the elegance or terminological precision, and without using particular phrases indicative of any one region in the subcontinent.

Buena Biblia, es una versión americanizada de la Biblia de Jerusalén, está escrita en lo que se consideraría "Español Neutro", tiene buenas notas aunque no son muy doctrinales y no tiene tantas como la versión letra pequeña española. No la considero 100% una Biblia de estudio ni pastoral. La recomiendo si se quiere leer una traducción relativamente fiel al texto original en un lenguaje más familiar para los latinoamericanos, con unas notas que buscan explicar el texto más desde un punto de vista histórico-crítico que de la tradición.
