After three years, it is finally time to lift the lid on the secret identity of the Zac Power series’ best-selling author, H.I. Larry.

Zac Power’s world of adventure and espionage has been immensely successful, with around fifty exciting stories published and over a million copies sold in Australia alone. The ‘H.I. Larry’ pseudonym was used to keep the series consistent (and boringly, ensure that all Zac Power books are catalogued and shelved together!), and readers have long been intrigued by Larry’s secret identity.

The voracious reader demand for more Zac stories required a large writing team comprised of several brilliant Australian authors – many of whom have gone on to create their own fiction. Because of the success of the Zac Power series, and these authors’ rising profiles, Chris Morphew, Hilary Badger and Meredith Badger are now available to speak about their work on the Zac Power series.

A good quick and easy read. Quite far fetched and childish, but an excellent short novel for young readers.

I don't think it wouldn't have made a difference if Zac had saved the world from an invasion of computer viruses, his mum still would've made him sweep the driveway!!!

This is, again, a book in the series filled with plot holes. If you ignore these, it’s a relatively exciting book for kids to read.
I do sometimes wonder why Zac doesn’t join BIG just to avoid his parents making him go home to do housework as soon as his mission is finished.
Also, I dislike the series making smart people seem uncool.
But hey, my 6-year-old son is enjoying me read the series to him, so I’m thankful for the bonding time.

I enjoyed it, but as far as children's books go, this wouldn't be my first recommend, maybe because it was so quick or maybe because of the unlikeliness of the happy ending... I don't know, but I've seen kids appreciate it, so maybe this kind of literature is lost on me.

My almost 7 year old son loved this book! Boy spy Zac goes on an exciting mission inside an erupting volcano...lots of fun and some comic book style illustrations too.
