Thank goodness for those Friends of the Library book sales. Got this for my Friends of Florida (FF) including myself.

As a Florida native I know a lot about the state but there's always something more to learn. This is one of those $1 books that I buy to pass around to all my FF. It's a lovely book and found some pictures that I had never seen before.

It reminded me of what a wild state Florida was before John Gorrie's invention of artificial cooling.
