Irys Evergrove only wanted one thing: to avoid marriage to the lecherous duke that has desired her long before she came of age. Those in her village speak of a demon that lives in The Woods, a magical land that very few humans dare to enter. Her desperation sends her into the heart of the forest until she comes face to face with a creature pulled straight from her nightmares.
So why does he excite her in a way no mortal man ever has?
Begging him to save her from her marriage he agrees but refuses the meager amount of coins she offers him. What this demon desires from her is one pleasure-filled night with her in his cottage. This demon unlocks something inside of Irys she has long since buried. When the sun rises in the morning will she truly be able to start her new life with the freedom she bargained for? Or will she realize that the passion she found between her and the demon of The Woods is not something so easily found again?
+2 « “It is desesperation that sends me out into The Woods tonight. »
¿Por qué? No hay porqué.
“The daughter you knew died in The Woods last night.”
¿Me ha gustado? Sí, sospechosamente sí. Ha tenido sus cosas que me han dado vergüencita, pero en general sí. Además, es una historia corta erótica no voy a pedirle peras al olmo ni a ponerme verdaderamente exquisita. No.
¿Lo recomiendo? Sí, ¿por qué no? Ha sido una lectura interesante.
« Then he is a fool. And the only good is a dead fool »
“It’s a trilogy we have to” Even though we are reading it out of order, Kiira insists we must read all three. Somehow this one was even worse than the third and I regret every single second of this.
This little novella packs one hell of a smutty punch. It is purely smut for smuts sake. I would never personally recommend it to anyone unless someone came to me & asked me what the smuttiest thing I have ever read was. Obviously a very specific genre here. I read in the description on Amazon that it had no plot, & I would actually fully disagree with that. There is a clear reason the FMC searches out the “MMC” (if he can even be called that?) It’s just that the plot is set & solved within a couple pages while the rest is just pure sex. Is this 4 star writing? With world building, heavy plot, complex characters, & twists & turns? Absolutely not! But for being smut it does what it’s supposed to do. For myself personally, I enjoy women who own their sexuality, whether that be in a character or an author putting it on paper, & aren’t timid or shy away from it. I see sex as two things, it is connection, & it is release. And when you find yourself reading multiple heavy series, thick with plot & having to use A LOT of your brain to keep up with what is happening, sometimes your brain needs a release. This novella gave my brain that release. And I will absolutely read the rest of the series to help give my brain a break in between heavier series.
This was pretty good! I haven’t read a significant amount of monster smut to be any kind of critical but I read it in a single sitting and the dirty talk was 12/10 😛
