Lust by Carmen Rosales.
Dravin and Gia pick up right where they left off in Thirst but nobody, and I mean absolutely no one on the planet will see the curveball that’s coming. This book is loaded with twists and turns. So much detail and not just with the main characters. Lust dives deep into the supporting cast as well. We learn so much. I’m sure your mouth will drop open a time or two while reading this story. It has it all: deception, betrayal, trauma, love, sacrifice, friendship, loss, exploration, manipulation. I could go on but you’ll just have to read the book to find out.
“I can't beat him by not showing emotion from his words, but I'll learn. He can knock me to my knees, but my strength will bring me back up and every time he is near me, I'll remember how I fell.”
“A pawn we’ll placed is more powerful than a king.”
"You are in hell. You're just my heaven."
“I'll be the sacrifice for your happiness."
"You're a beautiful mess, Gia."
"Our beautiful mess."
