This book picks right up with Gia revealing her secret to Dravin. But Dravin has secrets of his own. My mind is completely blown this book is loaded with twists and turns. There is so much betrayal deception that you will be left spinning.

My God this book had me in so many freaking feelings!! Wow!!
One minute I could be screaming at Gia and Jess (which let's be honest I did that a lot) wishing they had a little more back bone!!
But then I can turn around and understand why they were so caught up with these guys. Those guys could charm the skin off of a snake!! 😳 Holy hell!!
Now the guys in this book are assholes one minute, but the next have you melting and wondering how can they be so mean, but yet caring and charming the next?? 😔
The twist in this book were amazing and kept me fully engaged!! I am not going into details because it will spoil it. But wow!!
I can not wait to get into the next book now!! I need answers and need to know what happens with this group next!! 😳

This book completely BLEW ME AWAY!!!! If you think you know what will happen, you will be surprised without doubt. There are constant twists and turns that kept me glued to my kindle without being able to predict anything. Members of The Order control the world and by senior year of college they hold an incredible amount of power already. I loved how the author seemlessly wove in Jess' story with her boys and her past. I loved following along to both stories and I am dying to find out how the author will bring both Gia and Jess' story to a close with the next book. Some aspects of this romance aren't easy but are written with respect and an underlying understanding to the reader. Neither girl has it easy but I think they are being molded into badass women. I'm so glad I found this author and I can't wait to dive into her back list books. I highly recommend this read. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

At the end of Thirst, Gia had found out she was pregnant... Which was one of the stipulations of The Order. The others being that Dravin must have an heir before he graduates University in order for him to marry her, The Prey.
By the end of the third chapter... Holy what?!?! Did NOT see that twist coming at all 😳❣️ The difference between s3x and lust becomes apparent then continues to grow and bloom throughout each chapter they hold.
The storyline in Lust starts to intertwine with Jesse's as well with her past, Garret, and her present, Reid and Valen. Secretly using them all to forget a past haunting her, chasing her. I broke for her broken heart, body, mind and soul 💔
Lots of steamy 💋🔥 writing as well as triggering moments.
Interchanging POVs throughout as the reader gets sucked farther into The Order alongside them as their lives and safety needed barrel them towards The Consortium.
Perfect line:

I’m freaking speechless, my jaws on the floor & I’m not sure what to think! No words. This is really a phenomenal series, very dark, steamy, all the secrets, betrayal & lies, twists & turns- some you don’t see coming.
This book picks right up w/Gia revealing her secret to Dravin. But she’s not the only one w/secrets, Dravin has some of his own. And oh boy! It was great to see more of Jess in this & get her POV, but my heart went out to her.
This series will immediately grab you & I promise you won’t be able to stop reading.

This cliffhanger may in fact kill me and we get a lot of info on other characters but Gia and Dravin are consuming me but read the trigger warnings for this one and really focus on that if you do have certain situations you don’t read but if you love dark and the triggers don’t bother you definitely try this out

I do not like how this book had 6 people's POV happening.. Just stupid. Finish the story between Gia, Dravin, and Draven first and worry about Jess afterwords. I literally skimmed the chapters with Jess, Valen, and Reid. Not useful for this storyline. Got some solid spice. Have no desire to read the next book.

What!!! Omg blow my mind again!!!
Second book is as amazing as the first but when is the third coming out?!!! This isn't a typical dark college romance.. You need to read the first book to understand this book. This is so great I won't sleep again!!! I'm really glad that Jess. was brought into this book and became as much of a main character as Gia! This book blew my mind with the first major twist that I never saw coming...!! F'in crazy !!! These guys are not just typical dark twisted guys; they're just in this crazy violent world! I really am loving these Kenyan guys they're very dark and very dangerous men yet have a way about them that really stirs my heart. The Father is as bad as they come but in the last scene, where the crap hits the fan at Gia's house...well, I'm kind of seeing him differently. This has a lot of disturbing situations but it's not really presented in a way that would make me upset. Carmen writes in such a way that the most disturbing situations are written with such caring and heartfelt emotions that I feel closer to Jess because I can identify with her. She's really coming from such a crappy life but I think she's going to find these two guys really do love her and I'm sure they'll take care of her ex so she doesn't have to deal with him again! Lol! The way Jesse describes her emotions, going back and forth between keeping them at arms length and falling in love, while having hot sex with these good bad guys is so well written I feel her emotions! SPOILER ALERT.. Also, the scene with her ex, where he's raping her was written in a way that touched me and really healed me because of her responses to what she was feeling physically and emotionally.. Carmen thank you for speaking about this in a way that was sensitive to anyone that's been through this... Gia's scenes are so sizzling it's sinful! Together both Gia and Jess will rule this crazy world I'm sure of it! Please🙏 I need the next book!!! I want to give this series a 10 but it only goes to 5! Carmen is a genuinely authentic Author and I'm very very glad I have discovered her books... the triggers are something I think many of us can handle because of how she describes the situation. I can't believe how much I love this book and the series! I will read more of her books! Don't let the warnings freak you out give this book a chance... If you read the first you're going to love this book too!

I thought I was ready for the conclusion of this series that is for sure. I mean what a freaking huge twist right if the beginning. My mind was completely blown I mean what the actual hell. We have so much going on in this book that it will have you at the edge of your seat while reading. It has so many twists and secrets it will blow your mind. There is so much manipulation going on through out these pages it’s crazy. So much betrayal deception that you will be left spent. There is some serious trauma that is dealt with I mean there is so much going on in this book it’s a full blast roller coaster ride that will have you ready to jump ship it’s too much but don’t take my word for it grab it and read it for yourself trust me you need to read it for yourself to find out what this dark romance is all about.

Speechless in a great way
OMG, I am speechless.
Lust is everything I anticipated and so much more. Is it Jaw dropping? Hell, yeah! Is it spicy, most definitely! Is it mind-boggling and full of twists? Yes!!
Lust is the second book in the Prey series that
takes you on a gut-wrenching, emotional roller-coaster. Gianna and Jess go through so much and the twins, and Reid are very messed up.
This story kept me enthralled. My heart raced from excitement and was giddy with anticipation. Let's not talk about the sensual scenes.
PSA Book 1 must be read before book 2 and Lust ends on a cliffhanger.

Page turner
Ok I have a love hate relationship with the twins . I hate what they stand for and have been born into. It would definitely not be foe me but im so incredibly invested in Gia and jess and their stories. I read the first book as part of my book group but had to go on to find out what happens im hooked onto the next book i go .

I really don't know what to say but the twist in this book had me dropping my Kindle in shock. I really didn't see that coming (not going to say cause spoilers) but just wow! Carmen Rosales has hooked me into this series and I want, no I need more. I need to know what is going to happen with Dravin and Gia. I guess even Jess, but she isn't my favorite POV of this book. Now I am off to read Appetite, so wish me luck.

Dravin and Gia pick up right where they left off in Thirst but nobody, and I mean absolutely no one on the planet will see the curveball that’s coming. This book is loaded with twists and turns. So much detail and not just with the main characters. Lust dives deep into the supporting cast as well. We learn so much. I’m sure your mouth will drop open a time or two while reading this story. It has it all: deception, betrayal, trauma, love, sacrifice, friendship, loss, exploration, manipulation. I could go on but you’ll just have to read the book to find out.

What a roller coaster ride and I didn’t want it to end!
This installment begins right at the end of book 1 and the twists just keep on coming from beginning to end!
After the jaw dropping cliffhanger in book 1, the author continues to take me on a twisted and suspenseful roller coaster ride with unexpected surprises I never saw coming.
Gut wrenching and emotional, there’s a shift in the direction of Gia and Dravin’s story.
Things are not what they appear so read carefully!!
Then…just when I’m settling in with the multiple POV’s, the author drops a bomb revealing a secret I never saw coming AND theeen more shocking surprises that kept me on the edge of my seat. I swear I haven’t read a book so quickly as I did this one. The multiple POV’s added another dimension to the story where different things are happening interchangeably adding to the intensity and suspense.
Lust is a key factor in this read. Sweaty, kinky, dirty, angry lusty lust. These characters are not happy, and things are happening that are beyond their control and what better way to release those toxins than with Lust.
Except there’s more happening in this story. The stakes are higher and there’s a sinister undercurrent of what’s about to happen. The end was another jaw dropping head scratching of what the what just happened!
The next installment can’t get here fast enough.

Well well well.........this picked up right where we left off in Thirst. Wow!!! I was not expecting that twist at all!!! Within the first few chapters my jaw dropped 😦 I was not at all expecting that twist at all!!!! Like mind blown lol.
At the end of Thirst Gia found out she was pregnant with Dravin's baby, what we get from the first book is that he's part of The Order ( rich families blah blah blah ) and this is a stipulation of The Order that Gia must be pregnant and must marry one of the founding fathers sons i.e Dravin!! Bamn the twist happens pretty quickly and boy are we then taken on a rollercoaster ride of lust, sex, love, passion and betrayal. Honestly I could not put this book down!!!! So so good!!!!! Lots of sex and steamy scenes some triggers as there were in the first book.
I love the fact that this brings in the other characters and I was super excited to be getting into their heads especially Jess, Gia's best friend and dorm room mate. I really feel for Jess she's been through a hell of a lot and it was good to hear her back story!! Honestly such good books so far and I can't wait to see where this goes as of course this ended on a cliffy too 😩😕
At the end of Thirst Gia found out she was pregnant with Dravin's baby, what we get from the first book is that he's part of The Order ( rich families blah blah blah ) and this is a stipulation of The Order that Gia must be pregnant and must marry one of the founding fathers sons i.e Dravin!! Alright, y'all did I just fall into another cliffy and just stared at the wall for a cool hot min thinking about what the heck I just read? And how I just wanted to jump into the next book because how can you end a book like that?!?! I need more.
Falling right back into this world of secrets, mystery and suspense, had me giddy. I love how it started right where the first book ended. The shocking news that the author delivered at the end of the 4th chapter had me with my jaw on the floor. I seriously cussed out loud at work ahhaha! 😂😂
There is so much going on! you just don't really know what is going to happen next. We got some answers but not everything is what it seems.
The only thing I dislike was too many povs. I think Jess should have gotten her own book with all of her lovers and story. I think Gia and Darvin and Extra.. I won't say who that is because of Spoilers! lol 😂😂 should have just had this book all to themselves. There is so much to uncover and all the different POVs gave me whiplash. But I did enjoy the plot, the story kept me intrigued and let me wait for the next book!

I devoured this story and cannot wait to find out what happens in the next book. I'm truly loving Gia and her men but I'm also loving Jess and her men if you can really call Valen and Reid that. I love the twist the author threw in the story when it came to Dravin and I'm loving the way things are playing out. I hated what happened to Gia, but man did it take her long to figure out that it was Warren who played a part in what happened to her. I'm looking forward to the day when he gets his since he loves throwing threats out there. I also can't wait to see what Reid and/or Valen does to Michael, all I know is that Jess has not had an easy life. I really want her to find someone that will treat her the way she deserves and love her unconditionally, because baby girl really deserves a break. I have a feeling that we have not seen the last of Reid's cousin and his ex. To be honest, I'm just excited to read anything that comes next with these characters as I'm truly invested in their story. This book is dark, steamy, full of suspense, lies, betrayal, and loss, but it's also had heartfelt and touching moments, with love, friendships and laughs. This is a series that I will be recommending to friends, family and co-workers.

5 LUSTFUL STARS
Man oh man, this second book certainly took me by surprise, I never expected to happen what happened but it was certainly a good surprise. Gia keeps getting thrown into situations that she feels like she can't get out of or doesn't want to. She feels confused at times but deep down she knows what she wants.
This book also gives us more insight on Jess and what has happened to her and what she's running away from, what makes her forget about her past and what makes her feel good. Reid and Van seem to be the ones to do that to her but it seems like Reid can be a bit of a jerk at times, Van on the other hand, even though he has a reputation of being a big-time player and he's still young, he's found himself really caring for Jess, as well as Reid but Reid is a bit harder to accept his feelings for her.
The question is, what is going to happen with all of these younglings and the Order because deep down, Gia and Jess are just prey!
I am absolutely smitten with these characters and the storyline is so freaking addicting. I cannot wait to see where it will lead and what the outcome will turn out!!

The second part of this series picks up right where Thirst left off. The shocking news that Gia tells at the end, gets even more shocking and complicated in Lust.
I can't say too much regarding Gia and Dravin as it would spoil it. But trust that it is an interesting twist to the story. Gia's mind, body and heart and put through the ringer with Dravin and The Order.
Warren is still reaking havoc and Veronica is less worried about Gia and more interested in Jess this time around.
Jess is also put through the ringer with her mind, body and heart. We see more of her past and the trauma she keeps enduring when she returns home. She wants to be wanted and loved so bad, and the men that want to be that for her, can't be, or rather won't be that. I am interested to see if the cousin makes an appearance mext book, or of the guys man up.

Holy plot twist Batman! I thought at the end of the first book that Dravin had a secret but I definitely did not see that one coming. Without giving anything away Carmen Rosales has just turned everything on its head. At first I was thinking poor Gia then upon reflection that quickly changed to lucky Gia even though she initially might not agree. Told from multiple points of view Lust was definitely a roller coaster of strong emotions and manipulation. It certainly has a darker and slightly more sinister vibe than the first book but still nothing too overtly dark. There are highs namely Gia evolving into a strong woman capable of dealing with the Order along with a certain instance involving her mother - you go girl!!! But there are also low points concerning Gia’s friend Jess who will break your heart with everything she endures. Reid and/or Valen need to pull their heads out of their a$$es. Man up and help her but hopefully things might be looking up for her. I honestly cannot wait for the next book in this gripping series.

TWINS?! Identical twins? My lanta. Dravin and Dreven. Gia gets them both. I was pissed as hell when they tricked her - finding out they’ve been tricking her since day one.

This book is loaded with spice, love, trauma, deception, betrayal - SOO much within the 48 chapters. Learning about Jess and her past really was a treat because after reading thirst I was left wondering why she’s so broken. The love she has for her mother melted my heart.
You’ll learn so much about each character, it dives deep into the plot and 10/10 you’ll be left with wondering what happens. I want more, that ending 😳😳😳😳 come on Carmen! Give us more 🤣

DNF 61% Don’t waste your time
I should’ve followed my mind and not start this book after the first one disappointed me. Really gave this one a chance but omg I couldn’t continue
Firstly the multiple povs were very confusing and annoying like I came for the original main characters stories not Jess. She honestly needed a book by herself because there was a lot to unpack there. Instead it was shoved into one book which made me lose interest really quickly.
I honestly skimmed a lot and even watched which chapters were Gia and Dravin/Draven because that’s what I came for but even then I couldn’t stick to it. The writing was once again childish and it screamed failed potential since after the initial plot twist there was a lot to work with. Instead the author strayed so far and just slapped a bunch of things together so it was a whole pack of messy nothingness.

I ate up this story and can hardly hold back to figure out what occurs in the following book. I truly adore Gia and her men, as well as Jess and her men, if Valen and Reid can be called that. I love the turn the creator tossed in the story when it came to Dravin and I'm adoring the status quo working out. Although I detested what Gia went through, she didn't realize Warren was to blame for her misfortune for a very long time. He loves to make threats, so I'm looking forward to the day he gets his. This book is dark, steamy, full of lies, betrayal, loss, and suspense, but it also has moments of love, friendship, and laughter that are heartfelt and touching.
