I’m so sad that this series is over, but thrilled on how it ended. Effie and her mates literally travel multiple realms in order to reach their happily ever after. The final book in this series has plenty of action, as well as a good level of steam. The storyline concludes beautifully. The epilogues give a glimpse into how their future unfolds. This would be a great series to binge.

2.5 ‘meh’ stars.

Sadly, I became disenchanted with this series after the second book, and despite my hoping that would improve by the end, it did not.

I enjoyed the harem and how dedicated they were to Effie. I also liked the fact that there was an actual plot/storyline outside of the romance.

However, I did not particularly like Effie (I don’t need all of my FMC’s to be badass, but I prefer them not to be a snivelling doormat constantly overwhelmed by everything). I also didn’t like that most of the books seemed to be centered around Effie either eating or sleeping. And for a series that is 5 books long, there was not enough steam to really keep me interested (really only one scene per MMC throughout the entire series) and I really would have liked one or multiple group scenes.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough to keep me engaged. I’m glad I finished, but I wouldn’t recommend to others.

Lost(book one) is one of my favorite books, and while i have not loved where this series has gone, because i am so tired of the endless quests, different realms, unnecessary extra paranormals and how after several books worth of quests and 'danger' everything is resolved in like two pages (which is a common thing in sinclair's books), i am sad to see the end of effie's story.

Finally finished this series. Spoilers.

Overall this series was a solid three. We get one sec scene each character over 5 books so if that's what you are looking for look elsewhere. I think the author does a good job of spreading the main characters attention though and we get to know her mates well.

I said this in my previous review but the biggest issue I had was how long this series took to pick up. The plot, the relationships everything just took so much time and had a ton of filler. The plot didn't even really change pace until the end of book 3 beginning of book 4 which was really hard for me to stay engaged.

As for this book, honestly I skimmed a lot of it. I wanted to be done with this series and the addition of the shadow lands, and these quests, and everything else just felt added on almost. Like we had 4 books and then we drop the plot all in one.

What a great end to a wonderful set of characters! Effie and get guys race to get to the shadowlands and seek the dark god. He sends them on another quest to find the key to the gates as well as telling them some of his painful past. With enemies trying to keep them from the gates it time to embrace all her power to save the victims like her from a horrible fate. Loved the ending so happy for this group.

I mean this with so much respect when I say that I have read so much worse - however I felt let down with this book series. The set up had so much potential and I feel like for whatever reason and it could totally just be a me problem - the 'struggle' / 'solution' aspect of the book journey lost my attention.

I was so interested in the other worlds / the mythology of it but I feel like it was always put together like 'oh going to do this fixes this and this is why and it worked' and I would sit looking at my book thinking wait did I actually get anything from that? Like yes it was another box ticked off the characters to do list in the fight for justice but I felt like I kept being handed breadcrumbs of truly interesting and very creative worlds / twists on the magic and possibility, but that was it. All I got was breadcrumbs and in the end it just left me - well very hungry so to speak.

I do like this author and truly maybe I just think too much about things / like aspects of book that most don't but for me this just really was a bit of a let down for me in terms of where the story could have gone / what I could have learned about the truly creative world this author set up.

Stars: ⭐️ .75 Spice:🌶️🌶️

No offence but this was the longest series. It all felt so unnecessary. I did like how some of the questions I had were answered, but I did find that I was skimming a lot of pages just so I could finish quicker. I personally don’t think this series was for me. I can obviously see a lot of good reviews for this back, but for me I just felt like some of the story was unnecessary and just too long.

The spice was there, but nothing major.
I would’ve loved a group scene, but that wasn’t something that happened in the book. I don’t know if it’s because of the shifter world and if they don’t really do that but I would’ve loved it.

Sweet final
This book picks up immediately after the awful situation Effie and her men find themselves in at the hands of Hastain 😡but Effies selflessness saves the day despite the fear of her mates 😳
It drives the message home though of how much they need to complete the task Mona has given her and that the corruption needs remedying!!
However the path is not plain sailing with a trip to the Shadowlands on the horizon Effie discovers all is not what it seems regarding the relations between the gods and their creations…as well as some more shocking revelations closer to home 😮😮
Thankfully her men are 100% behind her supporting her every step of the way, there is not doubt they worship the ground she walks on 🥰🥰
There’s definitely an element of getting what people deserved in this ending - liked the aspect of the Guardians that was unique 😄
A sweet HEA that’s well earned!!

Overall I’d give the series like 3.2/5 ⭐️

At first, I liked it but then Effie just kept getting on my nerves. I understand at first why’d she be apprehensive and kinda take everything the wrong way butttt when that same thing continued in the 3rd book…I was over itttt. Talk about victim mentality. Whew it had me ready to launch myself out the window and the men kept coddling her. So bc of that, I basically skimmed through the rest of the series.

I also wish the was a little more tension between Effie and the guys. I felt like everyone just got together so quick (especially for there to be 5 books) and I wished the romance could’ve been dragged out more, not the plot. Which I felt like dragged out way too much. But the plot wasn’t bad. It kept my attention. I did like the relationship between the guys and Effie. Especially their protectiveness and the fact they kept feeding her like insane amounts of food.

I dont feel like I wasted my time reading it, just wasn’t very enjoyable.

I surprisingly really liked this book. It was great!!
The characters seemed more likeable(not that they weren’t before but it felt different).

The plot was nice and actually pretty interesting. I wanted to know what‘s happening . Safe to say I was invested in the plot.

Oh and I love that our girl grew a backbone and started acting herself (the stair scene for example)!!

If you’re in the mood for a story like this, I definitely recommend!

**Review shared for series**

I was so excited that this series was finally completed. M. Sinclair is one of my top favorite authors. Her reverse harems always feel so well-rounded and complete. I was not disappointed. I think the biggest thing I enjoy about Sinclair's writing is that the females aren't completely badass "I can do everything on my own" and full of attitude. It's a nice change. I like that the men actually have the chance to protect their mate. The female in this is pretty naïve so if that's not your jam this isn't for you. One thing with this series that surprised me was I felt like I had no idea where it was going. At times it was a little confusing, but I appreciated the fact that it wasn't super predictable.

Effie is a bitten wolf that showed up on her adopted parents doorstep with no memory 5 years ago. The entire time she has been there she has dealt with abuse from the pack, and her "parents." So when she gets an acceptance letter to a prestigious wolf university she is nervous but thankful for the opportunity to have more of a future than she ever thought possible. With only a duffle, no funds, and not even a proper jacket she is on her way to the unknown. Luckily for her she meets Julian, a bitten wolf with a similar background to Effie, on the train to university, and despite not knowing him, she knows she is comfortable and can trust him. Julian isn't the only wolf she meets and feels comfortable with. Caedmon, a lycan that needs to show how much Effie means to him by buying her everything she needs and could possibly want, and feels like that is all he can offer her. Ryder, a kitsune that is determined to find out more about his mate and protect her from everything, especially his own family. Dakota, a totemic wolf that has a mental connection with Effie that helps her adapt to the new world she has become a part of. Tore a fenrir wolf, although he may not actually shift into a wolf, Effie tends to bring out a very primal part of him that is determined to keep her safe at all costs. In a world that Effie doesn't understand, it is lucky that she has these men in her corner to protect her and teach her everything she needs to know. Like the connection she has with them, the difference between the types of wolves, and eventually who she really is. But it's not easy when she was brought to the college by someone with bad intentions, other wolves wanting her as their own, and even the guys own families posing a threat to them.

This is one of my favorite series by M.Sinclair. You go along for an epic journey with Effie. It all starts off with her knowing nothing of her heritage in book one. (Please note You MUST read the other books in this series first or this story will not make sense and you will only have yourself to blame🤗.)
Each book gets better and better.
This is the final installment of her story, and what a beginning!! You are dropped right into the action and it barely lets up. They are trying to open the gates to the God realm to restore the balance. Along the way she still has time with her mates that will make your toes curl!. It's important to have a world saving, life balance. But enemies from the past are still trying to stop them. Will they be able to open the gates and help fix the wrong? Will they be able to stay together?

I am so impressed with how M.Sinclair has been able to write this series. To be able to keep all of the story arcs going and be able to complete them by the end of this book. There were no strings left untied which I am so grateful for!!
I loved this series ❤️

Better

The conclusion was pretty good. I feel like Effie showed some growth. She still slept too much in my opinion, but it wasn't as bad as the other books. At least in this book she didn't leave everything up to her mates instead of taking action herself. She may have taken 5 books to reach a point where she wasn't cowering in fear, passing out, or falling asleep... but better late than never, right?
While I appreciated her relationships with her 2 girl friends, I do think it's weird that not much was said about her relationship with Reaper. Did anyone else find it weird that she finds out she has a half brother and she never acknowledges it? Even later on, when he's mentioned, the author never has Effie interacting with him. I think it's weird. He's not only her half brother, but he's one of her best friend's mates. I think there should have been something done with that.

I appreciated the epilogues even though I'm not necessarily a fan of the whole family life scenes. But we get a happily ever after, so I won't complain.

Also, this series is about a prestigious university, but it barely has anything to do with it. My final complaint is that there is pretty much only one intimate scene with each guy…when they mate. I don’t know if it’s because Effie was too innocent, if it’s because the story takes place in such a short time frame, or if it’s because she’s constantly sleeping…But, it was hard to believe that anyone loved anyone, regardless, due to the short time frame and lack of relationship building. Yes, they’re mates and drawn to each other…then why didn’t they mate immediately since Effie was in danger? I just feel like it didn’t make sense.

As Effie nears her death, something agains clicks in her and magic explodes, her new kitsune powers helps her in the water and she drags the lycan who is also drowning with her to the surface of the lake, wher ryder helps them on the cliff. All her mates are injured so effie heals them and falls unconcious.
They contact ruby's pack and all of them head towards ryder's another apartment. From there they call reaper and go to shadowlands through portal. After reaching the palace,They meet the dark god, Alcuin, who before tellin anything about key, tells the story of why the gate was closed in the first place, the story of sun god, moon goddess and dark god,he reveals Mona,Effie is none other than the moon goddess. And all the destruction was the mistakes that they made.
But the dark god doesnot have the key,he has put the key in the laybrinth of traps in the mountains so that it was impossibe for him to open the gate.Effie and her mates again go on a mission to get the key. There after a series of traps, a diamond which reveals what's real and what's illusion , after clearing all the tests, they finally get the key.
They rest for sometime in the palace and then return to earth realm to find the location of gate.Mona again reveals the location of gate to Effie in her dreams.Effie and mates tracks the location and head towards the gate when they are attacked by Hastien and caedamon's father. In the midst of the battle ,Effie manages to open the gate and the gods sweeps over and help her and her mates. They punish caedamon's father with death and take Hastien into divine realm to deal with his crimes.
Effie and her mates are invited to the divine realm and to her home where she meets her parents and stays there for sometime while the gods and guardians clean the eatrh of the crimes , rights the wrongs and clear the darkness.
Later when a party is thrown ,the sun god and moon goddess accept that they have made mistakes and learnt from them so now they will be equally sharing the responsibilities with Dark god.the guardians help Effie to dole out the justice on her old pack, whitepaw pack.
Epilogue ends with Effie and her mates getting married and living happily.Overall , i like the novel and enjoyed reading it even though i was skeptical about it in the begining.

It has been a while since I last encountered Effie and the boys, but once I started this final installment in the series, the entire story came back to life. There are series that really take you on a journey and regardless of how much time has passed, certain stories and characters tend to make a greater impact, hence why reconnecting with them happens almost magically. M. Sinclair has most certainly had that effect on me and being reunited with Silver Falls University has been a treat.

This last book picks up right off where the previous one left me speechless and tingling with anticipation as to the potential outcome of the precarious situation that the FMC has found herself in. The characters really work as a unit as they tackle the dangers that are lurking in every corner. The strong emotional bonds that have been created throughout the series enhance the fantastic connection that Effie has with the guys and there is this unbelievable trust, loyalty and support between them that really makes my little heart feel complete and utter admiration for the beautiful relationship that they have formed.

Loved the involvement of Mona and Samson as more is being revealed about the FMC’s background and it was nice to see that she is given another chance to reconnect with her heritage. Another aspect that I really liked about the series is the strong, genuine friendship between Effie, Ruby and Anyaa. They stuck by her side through thick and thin.

After all the hurdles, challenges and struggle, the epilogues were so sweet to read through. Effie is one of those characters that are genuinely sweet, tender, and exceptionally caring. To some she may seem fragile and naïve, but behind the façade there is strength and determination that allow her to open her heart and trust that what awaits her will be much more gratifying than she could have ever dreamed of.

I love M. Sinclair and all of her books, but this may be my favourite series

The final book to this series may be the most emotional of all, in my opinion.

Effie goes from being neglected, abused, and feeling unwanted and different from the rest of her pack to being loved by five different men, finding lost family, having amazing friends and finding her place in life.
The men in her life all find peace by the end of this story, as well. None of them have a real sense of family until Effie came along. Between all six of these characters, they create their own family, and it's heartwarming to see how things end up for them all.

"Found" has topics in it such as greed, selfishness, redemption, fixing your past mistakes, moving forward, justice, family, and love.

Each of the main characters, and even some of the secondary characters, have come such a long way and are better and happier in the end because of it.

I do have a couple of questions that don't exactly relate to the story (like, if Effie's mom is Mona, that makes her a goddess. Is she therefore immortal like her parents? Will her mates be since they're bonded to her?) but I'll just use my imagination or ask the author one day!

I could barely put this book (let alone the entire series) down, and I strongly recommend it to anyone who likes shifter, fated mate, academy, or any paranormal type romances!

So sad to depart with these characters and the wonderful story M. Sinclair has cultivated in this universe!

Effie has been a character so sweet and naive that I’ve wanted to do nothing but hug her from start to finish! Her guys are amazingly supportive and protective without falling to far into one end of the spectrum.

Picking up right after the last book so much is happening from the start and just continues to ramp up as the story progresses. Ending with a beautiful HEA Effie’s I’m truly sad this series has come to an end but the growth and journey all the characters experienced leave me feeling at peace with what happened!

Overall this final book was 1/5 🌶️ on the spice meter for a spicy book lover. The spice didn’t really stand out or pack as much heat as Sinclair’s other series either.

⚠️POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNINGS ⚠️

🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑
There were a few opportunities I felt that were missed for example: The found family aspect felt as though it was just glossed over with little emotion despite Effie being such a deeply caring person. Secondly the trials aspect and following events felt a little too easy. Given how much trouble Effie has faced I do understand it but personally felt as though there could have been a tad more there as well.

This book leaves off where the last book ended. Let me tell you that Ms. Sinclair did it again with an amazing story that jumps right into the thick of everything from the get go. You are sitting on the edge of your seat with anticipation within a few pages into the book. It has non-stop action, drama, and suspense. Effie and her guys just can't seem to catch a break in this one. We learn so many answers to questions that have plagued us since the beginning of the series. We meet some new characters that are so very interesting. I fell in love with this series from the beginning. I will also say you will need to read them in order to fully understand the series. The entire series is extremely well written and developed. I love how over the course of the series we see Effie growing and in this one she really comes into her own. Then we get to the guys and they have really grown and changed as well. The descriptions are amazing and allow you to easily picture the scenes in the store. It is absolutely a must read and it will not disappoint. The only sad thing is that this is the last book for this series. I have grown to love all the characters so very much. Excellent job in creating this amazing world for us to journey on Ms. Sinclair. I can't not wait for the next big adventure.

Great series ended. Tied up all loose ends

Don’t know why good reads does this when I review, but it seems to crash on me and my long winded review goes to the divine realm or something and I have to start again.
I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed that we got to watch them go through each tribulation with pride. There was a few rocky parts, parts that confused me but they made it through by trusting in the female lead character and her intuition. I do wish that they got to enact some justice along side the guardians. They went through so much only to watch them make the wrongs right. I also don’t think her biological dad didn’t fit with the original narrative. His jealousy and the main reason why the gate was shut in the first part. They all forgave him? Yeah. I could see them getting through it all but over time. It just didn’t feel natural when his jealousy was the cause of most of the issues down on earth. Reapers dad should have also been put on spotlight because he made a horrible decision based on his own feelings. I’m also glad that the female lead characters old pack got the justice they deserved. I just wish she could have delivered it. If I could have, I would have rated this book a strong 4.5 stars. 4 is to low. Great book. Great length!

I thought I'd wait until I completed the series so I could review it as a whole.

I absolutely loved Effie's story!
As a character, she sometimes didn't hit it with me. She was pretty meek and reliant on her harem up until book 4.
My other issue was with every book. It centred a lot around Effie eating or sleeping. I felt it was used as a way to lengthen the books because they didn't bring anything to the story. Yes, it showed how her mates cared for her, but after the first few times, it became a bit tedious.
But overall, these weren't major issues and didn't stop me from being hooked until the very end.

I absolutely loved all of the men in her harem. They all brought something unique, and I found myself falling in love with each of them.

I'm a sucker for a HEA, and both the epilogue's tied it together beautifully.

It is a slow burn, but the scenes where there was intimacy were spicy and kept me hooked, I do think it could have benefited from a group scene or even mutilple men at once. The only intimacy did happen with each individual it was solely to mate and mark.

Overall, I'd recommend it.

Last book and I'm sad to see them go.

It was a series filled with so much darkness, child abuse, SA, bullying, neglect, trafficking and more... Yet the MCs were all so sweet, possessive, willing to kill, and scary to others but their mate. It was refreshing not having that angst of the MMCs being arseholes to the FMCs, in this series it was the sweetest and cutest thing. As they are running through this new relationship, they are also dealing with world-changing issues.

Anyway, enough about the series. This book is the end and it's a HEA, with two epilogues that close the series in a satisfying, smiling and heart-loving way.

To get there, they fight, travel, problem-solve solve and grow.
There's Goddess and Gods, Shifters and magic. The world, politics and all are so well built I had to blink my way back to reality.
There's bonding, and high steam with smex that made me jealous... the fit of their relationship made me jealous. While the over-possessive, touch her and die, may not be everyone type of guy, it is Effies and that fit is so satisfying seeing how they work, I want to be Effie!!! And her mates!!! awwwww....

Okay this series is going into my favourites, 4.8 stars

I really enjoyed this one! It pulled me in from beginning to end. It is the 5th and final in the series and you definitely need to have read the previous books as this is a continuation of what has been happening and a lot of development and action have happened in the previous books to really make this one make sense. I loved seeing Effie continue to grow and build her relationships with her five mates and come into more of her own in this story. They are getting closer to having more answers and figuring things out in order to stop the evil and restore balance but they still have quite a bit of work cut out for them. They are having to confront their pasts and the dangers from them but her men and solid and ready to do whatever is necessary to keep Effie safe and to help her complete her mission. I enjoyed seeing how things came together with the female friendships she made as well and how things played out. This story was engaging and well written. It had a good pace with things moving along to keep readers attention. I was engaged with the characters and loved getting to see more of them and watching them just become more solid of a unit together. Great story and series and would love to see more of them! Really enjoyed this one!

Yay!!

I am SO EXCITED that the final book is out. I have been waiting SOOO long for it, you have no idea! And I’m thrilled that it didn’t disappoint. We finally got some answers, and I LOVED the final battle. My blood-thirsty little heart determined that there could have been more savagery but I wasn’t at all disappointed with the way things went lol.
The guys (sigh) and their relationship with Effie is freakin’ adorable. I admire their over-protectiveness and willingness to show Effie she is THE most important thing in their world.
I would highly recommend reading this series…or any book that M. Sinclair writes.

I will say one thing that took me a little aback, and hopefully it doesn’t give too much away, so just in case

***POSSIBLE SPOILER***

I was a bit shocked and slightly disappointed with Effie’s reaction on learning about Reaper. I would have thought she’d have been ecstatic, but there really wasn’t much mention or reaction of how she felt one way or another. It was a bit jarring.

This book brought me back to my early days of getting into indie authors and shifter books. This series and shared universe started over two years ago and I remember reading so many books from this world because many authors that I followed were part of it. I’m happy and sad that the series has finally come to an end.

We’ve watched these characters grow up, change together and become a team. What like about M Sinclair is her ability to make the characters easy to connect to. I feel like every time one of her series ends it’s like saying goodbye to family. Sometimes it does slow the books down to see the growth but it’s worth it in the end.

I felt like I was never sure which direction the story would go in, other than a HEA, of course. The series did go on a little longer than I thought it would but it was enjoyable.

Congratulations on another series well done, M Sinclair! I can’t wait to indulge in your next series.

A fitting ending to an interesting PRN romance series.

To be honest I felt this series could have been a trilogy but these days authors that publish on Amazon seem to realize they make more money w more books.

So while I respect their work, somedays the books and stories just drag.

Anyhoo. I loved the way this series ended. Everything got tied up, villains got handed their revenge, bonds were created and solidified, gates were open and justice was doled out.

The phrases nibble her lips/ chewed my lips were used so much I decided this author needs to get her money back from her editor.

Who the hell edits a book and doesn’t suggest removing 75% of the lip nibbles? Wtf? If I am seeing this surely the editor did. Get your money back sis. 🙄
Ugh.

I removed a star for this issue bc repetitive words and phrases like this need to go. Period.

Much better than the middle books

This last installment to Effie's story almost lives up to the first book. Not quite but close. The middle three books should have been heavily edited into one decent bit of story but we are stuck with a five book series of over 1000 pages total.

Book five finally has movement and a decent antagonist resolution. Things do sort of slamjam into place a bit roughly, like the literary version of hammering stonework into place. Effie does become a more adult version of her character, finally. The guys are pretty solid all around. The author does leave us with a gapping plot hole around Julian and coffin, unfortunately.

All in all, if you start the series, be prepared to be annoyed with the middle books and to be investing a lot of time for what should be a shorter story. (God the repetitive soliloquizing in the middle still makes me itch with frustration).

Found is the fifth, and final, book in the Silver Falls University Series. It is a why choose, paranormal, University, fated mates romance with lots of steam and a fulfilling HEA.

I’m saddened that Effie’s story has come to an end, but I so loved seeing her get her HEA with her mates. It was the perfect ending. This has been such a fantastic story, with each new book being even better than the last.

I loved seeing the character growth that Effie and her mates have shown throughout the series and how they never stopped fighting for each other. I also loved how protective and loving the guys are with Effie and how supportive they are towards each other.

The writing, flow, characters, character development, relationship development, and world building are all fantastic. I would absolutely recommend this book and series and cannot wait for more from this fabulous author.
