I love M.L. Rhodes. I enjoy her stories and her characters, some more than others but thats just personal perspective. However, I really could go without reading this part of any line again 'so damned much'. I am to the point that I know when that part of a sentence is coming and I cringe. Why? I think its because its repeated in every one of her stories. Does it make me stop reading? No. Does it make me say a silent prayer to whoever is listening that she drop that line from her vocabulary? Yes, so damn much.

The 2nd book in the series - I highly suggest reading Passion first.

There is even a book previous to that one called "The Elf and the Shoemaker" but you do not have to read it just know the Store Owner and the Passion Oil come from there.

I'm glad there was a sequel to these MC's, it was fun to keep reading about them.
