Wildcard has already been too late to save one girl, but he won’t let it happen to the woman he falls in love with. His life started off rough and only got worse, until Guard found him and brought him into the fold. He’s proved his worth time and time again. When Charlotte comes into his life, he knows she’s the one. The timing is all wrong but he’s going for it anyway.
Charlotte will always be grateful to the Pride for taking her brother in and teaching him that good men exist. She’s determined to make a home for her brother but didn’t count on her abusive father returning to turn her world upside down. When Wildcard jumps in with both feet, she’s afraid to screw things up but he’s worth the risk.
Determined to conquer all, Wildcard and Charlotte fight for the right to be happy.
I never thought I’d say it, but I can’t get enough of this MC romance/biker romance series. It’s so good and feeds my hardcore side. A.G. Kirkham brings such emotion to motorcycle clubs, and I inhale each story. This one, however, tore my heart out. A hero suffering guilt, a woman harboring a deadly secret, and the love they share unites them to bring down her evil father.
It all starts and ends with emotion. The narration is layered with emotion and the reader has no choice but to ride the wave. A.G. Kirkham uses emotion to connect her characters to the reader and the result is an unputdownable romance.
The characters drive the plot in this story. I connected with both Wildcard and Charlotte right away. Wildcard is a tormented hero with a past. He’s earned a certain reputation but all that changes when he confesses his love for Charlotte. He’s got pain buried deep but swallows it for the woman he loves. Charlotte’s anguish is heartbreaking and I totally cried. These characters latched onto my heart and didn’t let go.
The writing is poignant, visceral, and stark at times but that’s why I love this author. Her heart bleeds between the pages so when you’re reading, you become part of the story. Authentic characters and storylines make this book unforgettable. A truly remarkable book and one I strongly recommend.
The tenth book in the Satan’s Pride series is another astonishing book from author AG Kirkham as she delivers a story that engrosses you into the world of the MC.
Wildcard is a newer member to the club but his story is much the same as his club brothers. Brought into the ‘family’ by Guard, he has proven himself more than once. He is loyal and will do whatever it takes for the club.
Charlotte, aka Charli, has a younger brother Noah, who was saved by the club when he fell into the wrong crowd and gang. Satan’s Pride knew he was put into a bad situation and just needed help and guidance. They decided to take a chance on the teenager and he’s been on the straight and narrow since.
Charli and Noah’s early home life was not good. A drunk dad who beat their mother, she tried to protect her mother. When he finally left for good, it was just Charli, Noah and their mother. When their mom got sick, Charli left school to take care of her and Noah. Unfortunately, their mother passed which started Noah hanging with a bad crowd.
One night while Wildcard is sitting across from the street from Millie’s Diner, thinking about the beautiful woman who he can’t get out of his mind. The woman who is currently living above the diner but will soon be moving, thank goodness. Yeah, he had something to do with her great find in a new place, and he’s damn happy he did. He suddenly spots her leave and begin walking in the cool night towards the elementary school down the block. He decides to follow her to where he sees her sit on one of the swings, quietly sobbing. Just as he is about to approach her to find out what is wrong, a man comes from out of nowhere. Charli sees him and takes off running.
Wildcard gets between her and the man, much to the man’s chagrin. When the man makes a disparaging remark about Charli, Wildcard punches the moron and discovers he is her father. Advising the man he better stay the hell away from Charli, he watches as he drives off. Knowing there is something seriously wrong, Wildcard calls Guard to make certain Charli has watchful eyes on her in case her asshole father decides to return.
The next day the club learns that Noah is unaware of his father’s existence or whereabouts since he left years ago. Charli wants to make sure he’s protected and isn’t sure how to go about keeping herself and Noah safe.
Wildcard vows to protect Charli and Noah. He also informs Charli that she is hers. Music to her ears as she has been watching Wildcard since she arrived to the Pride, it’s also a lot to take in given all the recent events.
When the father turns up dead, a new problem and situation arises which causes the club to rally around Charli and Noah.
Will Wildcard be able to protect Charli? Will he let down the wall around his heart to allow Charli to help him heal?
Watching the love grow between the two is inspiring and the sizzling hot sex scenes, will give readers all they want and they will not be disappointed.
AG Kirkham has written a wonderful book and one that can be read as a standalone. I highly recommend reading the entire series and learn about all the members.
Thank you AG for writing another incredible book in the series. Well done!
This is #10 in a motorcycle club romance. Did I read books 1-9? I did not. Maybe that’s why I feel less connected to these characters. I read this as a stand alone and wasn’t familiar with the series or the characters at all. It went very fast. With only 172 pages there was a lot to tell in a short span.
This is the story of Charlotte (Charli) and Wildcard (Emmet). Charli is the guardian of her little brother, Noah, and she’s doing her best to support them as they figure out life without parents. WIldcard is the newest member of the Satan’s Pride Motorcycle Club and has instantly fallen for Charli. When he sees someone approach her in the dark and notices the frightened look on her face, he’s determined to protect her at all costs. He makes her his woman and the relationship moves quickly as the MC tries to eliminate the threats against Charli (and Noah).
I’m going to be brutally honest. This was not my favorite. The writing just didn’t suck me in. It was a great story but it was written in a way that just told what was next. I didn’t connect to the characters. The author just said what happened next. And then this happened. And then this happened. And then this happened. It was instant love between the main characters. The spark apparently happened in the book prior. And the events in the story instantly resolved themselves. There was no tension build or edge of my seat moments that made me wonder what will happen next. The last chapter of the book barely touches on the next event in this couples lives and sets up what I assume is yet another Satan’s Pride book.
Thank you so much to Book Sirens for the ARC. This is my honest review of Wildcard by A.G. Kirkham. I suggest you read book one in the series and see if this fits your reading style. Just because it wasn’t my cup of tea doesn’t mean it won’t be yours.
Triggers: violence, some language, mention of off page rape (not explicit), off page death of a child
Steam level: Hawt
Standalone: Y but even better if you read the series
HEA?: Y
Kirkham returns with another good biker romance in her Satan’s Pride MC series. If you love MC romance, this book is definitely worth reading. Book moves quickly, exposition is brief but thorough. The relationship between the hero and the heroine is enjoyable. Both are likable and it’s lovely that he supports her dreams and she accepts and loves all of him. Lots of sweet moments and several hawt ones. Secondary characters are three dimensional and well written. I enjoyed reading this book and it drew me in and kept me reading. Highly recommended for MC romance fans. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. Loving this series as each book is amazing, with depth, action/suspense, emotion, love, support and steam, that there is never a dull moment. As always I'm pulled into the story that doesn't let up until the end. Note that there is mention of rape and abuse so may be a trigger for some. Love that the female leads in the series are so strong even after all the pain they go through. Charlotte shows so much love and care for her brother Noah and you can't help but love her. She and Wildcard (Emmet) are perfect for each other, especially after everthing they have gone through to get their HEA. Can't wait for the next book which is Priest's story!
Wildcard is book 10 in the Satan's Pride series. Like the prior episodes in this series Wildcard is a man seeking redemption from his past while finding his one true love, Charlotte. Charlotte has a complicated past too, but together they are stronger. They both have to face their pasts in order to move forward together. Their love is as sweet as it is steamy!
While this book can be read as a standalone, for a better appreciation of all the characters and storyline I would suggest reading all the books in series order. The final chapter of this story also gives us a glimpse into the next book of the series.

Wildcard is book 10 in Satan's Pride series and this author has delivered another incredible story. This is Wildcard, Charli and Noah's story and it will bring you to your knees in places. This author has such a way with her characters that you can't help but fall in love with all of them. Charli and Noah, her younger brother, haven't had a good life. She does the best she can to protect and take care of Noah but he still ends up in trouble. This is where the Pride steps in. Immediately upon seeing Charli, Wildcard knows she's his one and he'll do whatever it takes to protect her.
This author always forges an emotional connection between the hero and the heroine. Wildcard and Charlotte are not an exception. Wildcard's past is horrific and he is always going to defend women from the evils of the world. Charlotte's past has forged her into the woman she is today. She feels a connection to Wildcard, he makes her feel safe and seen. This is an MC that deeply and truly feels like a family. They all rally around their members no matter what they are going through. As always, I love to spend time with Satan's Pride!
Charlotte has tried to raise her young brother alone, but the reappearance of their father in their lives brings nothing but trouble. Someone is out to get them as a debt owed, but it's up to Wildcard and the Pride to protect one of their own. This is a great addition to the series as the Pride once again comes together to protect Charlotte and I love revisiting old friends from previous stories. As usual, the story is filled with alpha protectors, suspense and the unveiling of the sweet side of rough bikers toward the women they love.
Good storyline with good main/side characters and chemistry. It's a standalone for the most part, but there were a few times that I felt I was missing some info that I probably needed to read 1 or more of the prior books to have and understand. Unfortunately, they're not on KU. Other than that, i enjoyed the read. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily
This is a great MC series and each one is better then the last if that's possible, because they are all great. Wildcard and Charli have a great story line that made me smile, and cry, as they fight trouble from her past to get their HEA. Romance, suspense, and drama is always a winning combination. Well written and edited, this whole series stays on my kindle for a reread in the future. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I always feel the love and respect towards the women who become involved with Satan's Pride. Wildcard's story is no different with Charlotte. These men will move heaven or hell to protect their family of brothers and those they love. To bad there aren't more men out there like that.
As always in this series, great characters with enthralling plot lines, and action!

I can’t get enough of this series!!! I loved Wildcard and his connection to Charlie and Noah even before they were truly ‘his.’ I love that Wildcard saw Noah as an extension of Charlie and took him as his own family, Wildcard is one of the younger members of the MC but he showed everyone that he can stand up and own his role in the club. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this world!!!!
When Emmet (Wildcard) first saw Charlotte he knew she was the one, when her and Noah's father turns up and scares her, all he wants to do is protect her and claims her, but there's more to her father's appearance.
I love the Satan's Pride MC, the sense of family and loyalty is second to none and a fabulous storyline makes this a one click.
Wildcard and Charlotte are perfect together. I love how he protects her. What is behind her father’s appearance back into her life? This is book #10 of the Satan’s Pride MC series and it’s an emotional love story. I really enjoyed it. *this was a complimentary copy and this is my honest review*
Wow. Wildcard and Charlotte’s story had me from minute one. I knew the characters from other stories but this exploration of their story kept me going. I might have teared up a time a two. I love all the couples and I will say these two might might be my favorite. I love every page of their story. This is not to be missed.
Charlie was settling in to life after her brother Noah was helped by the MC, and wildcard had certainly noticed her, but also that someone else was around, her father and when Charlie needs protecting Wildcards the one to step up and claim her as his. Well written drama, action desires a great addition to the series
This is the 10th book in the Satan’s Pride series and it’s another very good book from this author. He’s a newer, but already proven member of the club, she comes from a broken family, needs protection, he provides it. Kirkham has written another wonderful book that can be read as a standalone. I highly recommend reading the entire series.
I have read all the books in the Satan’s Pride series and loved them all, this was no exception. This author always delivers a great story which grips you start to finish. A worthy read.
