ARC Review
We jump back into the struggles created in the first book, Mabel the monster hunter is under a curse which means she's physically pulled to go back to an evil king whenever he wants her for another mission. This results in her fighting savagely with her orc love and really hurting him unintentionally. I understand the potency of the curse and how it's great drama but I found it really sad how she treated him, it was pretty unforgivable even if she couldn't help it, but if I was Brugo I'd have dumped her. So it was a rocky start emotionally with the romance being snuffed out and the trust broken for awhile.
But the real reason this book didn't resonate with me was the new character, our kraken man. Reverse Harems and multiple partners are hugely popular right now, so I believe other readers will love this book and have none of my problems, but my brain just can't understand romance with more than one person. Mabel's soulmate is her orc Brugo but suddenly she's utterly compelled to run into the sea and meet this tentacle monster who's also in love with her despite never meeting her. She basically tells Brugo she's going to go cheat on him and leaves him on the beach staring sadly after her. That didn't fly with me. There is much inner dialogue from Mabel about how she's cheating and she feels guilty yet this other guy feels like a soulmate too. Brugo is hurt but can sense the connection between his girl and kraken man and he's hurt but somehow accepting.
There's a Lot of steam in this book, tons of tentacle action, it's hugely steamy and well written, but because she was cheating it didn't affect me at all.
Eventually they all meet and become a MFM arrangement and agree to share. Now it's not cheating and the spice hits another level and there's lots of it for the rest of the book, inbetween avoiding bad guys it's pure smut. But my monogamous brain just doesn't let me enjoy it. I even tried imagining two of my biggest crushes and I still wanted to crawl out of my skin at the idea of 2 guys touching me at once. 😂 But this is fantastic news for readers who love RH and multi partner stories!! If you like that, this book is so spicy and so full of steam, it'll be your new favourite! (Just read book one, Accidentally Orc-ward first.) The guys are both very loving and tender with her, there's not a sweet guy and a dark rough guy, it's basically two cinnamon rolls.
The series is set to continue with another monster joining the harem in each book, hinting at MM content next time, so if you're into that keep an eye out!

Mabel is back still with Brugo. They need to get further away from King Gilberd. The pull is becoming unbearable. Brugo is not handling the things Mabel does and says well when under the curse. They have found something that helps. What they need now is money. Alverline is calling to Mabel and she is not sure why. The town is in search of a monster hunter to rid the of a Kraken.
Zeklan is half kraken, half human. He is cursed but something else is keeping him in Alverline. She is coming. He can feel her getting near. As soon as Mabel jumps in the water, he goes to her. The connection is instant and they do not waste any time. How will Brugo feel about this new addition? Their duo has become a trio in the blink of an eye.
That's not all. We get a visit from an old friend thought to be dead. Will he finally take Mabel back to the kingdom where she belongs? This new trio will have to think fast to get out of this mess. Did I forget to mention that orcs are not the strongest swimmers. Is he too much of a hinderance for the group? As always Lucee keeps it steamy and action-packed. I am really enjoying this series. The books move fast and will have readers begging for more.

Mabel is cursed in more ways than one. She not only a monster hunter, for a tyrant king, but she ALWAYS ends up falling head over heels for those she is contracted to unalive.
This is such a fun series! We met Brugo, the orc, in the first book. The pull between him and Mabel is absolutely undeniable. Now we have Zeklan, a half kraken, half human hybrid. He can feel a connection and sense when Mabel is near. Normally, the RH books I read, they are somewhat already established. This series feels so unique and with each book, there's a new guy/monster that's added. I guess the plus side to King Gilberd, he's indirectly a match maker 😅.
ANNNYWAYS, I highly recommend this if you are into high fantasy/monster RH. I definitely can't wait for the book

We pick up where book one left off. Mabel and Brugo have set out to find his cousin so he can apologize for what happened to her. The farther away from the kingdom they get the harder the pull for Mabel to go back to her king.
To keep up their journey, Mabel takes on another job to hunt down a massive kraken.
Will she be able to complete the job or will she fall in love with this monster too? What about Brugo??
The ending hints that there will be more in the series and I seriously hope there are. I didn’t think monster peen would be my cup of tea, but I am obsessed!!
This time the triple POV makes the story that much more compelling. 🥰

We pick up from the first book. Mabel and Brugo are still on the run from the king as she tries to keep herself from the pull of the king’s curse. Things will get a little crazy as they process to Alverline, the town she fells pulled to. Zeklan has be waiting for his mate for years and feels the pull of her nearby. Mabel has an instant connection to him from first sight. But everyone is in jeopardy when someone from their past comes after them. Will their love survive this bump in the road and if they do what happens next in their adventure?

It's not a bad read. It's definitely a ton of really good smut. The storyline is a bit drawn out, making it a bit dryer than her first book. If I had to choose as of right now, I would choose her first book. It's still worth seeing where she is taking the harem.

Oh Mabel, you greedy woman 😂.
The story is full of intrigue, getting curiouser and curiouser as new characters come in.
It’s an enjoyable read with a good amount of sizzle in the mix. Can’t wait for book 3.

If you thought Mabel's inability to kill a monster and instead fall if love with him in the first book was fun to read, this book continues down that trend of her being quite possibly the worst monster hunter on the planet!
We pick right up from where we left off in Accidentally Ora-Ware, which I personally loved to see. There were not any moment missing or time jumps that sometimes confuse me more as a reader than they do to help the overall story.
I loved the new introduction of a second love interest for Mabel in the form of Zeklan. How that was portrayed in the book was really fun to read and I think what made it even more interesting is just how drawn Mabel was to him, even before she met him. I think it was really fun to see her reaction to the strong pull not having any explanation to it and even more interesting to see Brugo's reaction to this unexplained draw. Factor in when both Zeklan and Brugo finally meet and you get some really tense, really fun moments between these two where the fight for Mabel affection at times may be on the line. Add in the threat from an old friend on behalf of the king and you have tension and action that keeps you hooked and entertained.
The chemistry between all three is really fun to read and the spice level is off the charts. Mabel is still fighting her pull back to the King and it seems the only way for that to be dulled down is through spicy activities, which lead to some VERY hot and heavy scenes, so if heavy amounts of spice and multiple partners is not your thing, this is certainly a book you should stay away from.
This story isn't over yet and it will certainly be interesting to see just where Mabel and her lovers (old any maybe even some new ones) go from here. I for one can't wait to see if the connection between them will be enough to finally free her from the King's clutches and give her the happily ever after she has been denied for so long.

Along the journey, there are a few hurtful words thrown when the king’s hold grabs her harder than ever, but they figure out something that can help break that hold.

I did enjoy this as much as Accidentally Orc-ward. I thought it was interesting that her curse is brought up a lot as in the pull she has to go back to King Gilbert. I can’t wait to learn more about that in future books. Another thing that was interesting was that she can sense when she won’t be able to successfully complete her task as a monster hunter, I’m curious how many more will she have.
I enjoyed her with Brugo and now we get Zeklan, our kraken, into the mix. I’m curious on where their relationship will go but I have a feeling the next one will be funny due to the epilogue.

This second enjoyable story in this series about Mabel the monster hunter and her adventure with Zeklan, our kraken. This is a quirky romance story that was a delight to read. Mabel gets summon by her curse to hunt and Bruno joins her. They are drawn to a cave by the sea. Zeklan senses Mabel approaching his mate, he also senses that like him that she's cursed, but will his mate be his salvation or doom? I loved the characters, and the storyline with its drama and romance that simmers between them was an engaging read in this copy I'd received and volunteer to review.

Brugo struggles with her finally chaining them together. They hed to a townon the coast where they have offered a bounty to get rid of the Kraken that takes their livestock. Mabel soon senses him and knows she will not be killing him.

This book was a good read! It had hot spice, tentacles, an orc, and a monster hunter....hehehe. If you're thinking about how tentacles would fit into this mix and where would they would even go, then this is your book....lol. Cause let me tell you, it gets hot and you will be jealous. The storyline was full drama, romance, emotional rollercoasters, and action; so if you're into that, then grab this book. My only downside is that I am waiting for book 3.

Well written, full of drama, steam, intrigue and magic. Mable has been again sent to defeat an enemy of the King, who uses magic on her to keep her doing what he wants her to do. Mable's boyfriend from book 1 isn't happy that Mable finds him attractive. What's a girl to do with 2 sexy men in her life. What's to happen in book 3, can't wait. Would recommend.

Book two continues the tale of Mabel. The first book brought us Mabel as she hunted a certain orc. Book two brings us both them as they try to find a way out of the curse that Mabel has been under. She is still a monster hunter and kraken seems to be a problem for a small town. But not all monsters are what you think. The story does get pretty hot as it is a why choose story. There is no cheating.

Again, I love the chemistry between Mabel and Brugo, however, we get to meet another monster, Zeklan. The chemistry between all three is so palatable. I really enjoyed this book, and I can’t wait for more! Monstersluts y’all need this series!

This is the second book of this series,that follows Mabel path as she meets Zeklan,the half kraken,half human and falls in love ,while Brugo struggles with insecurities .Meanwhile she keeps feeling the pull of the curse and still can't remenber the face of the warlock who cursed her.
Praise to Lucee Joie for this series,a tale of love and lust with some triggers but also funny and scorching hot!

The curse is just something that I think we Will understand more on the future, maybe the evil King has something he wants more from her... Maybe he wants her to find her mates and not to Kiko them? Not sure ter. Still it's very enjoyable to read.

This is the second story in the series and we follow more along with Mabel and her mythical creature lovers. There is a lot of spice and sharing involved. I couldn't put this down once I started reading it and some parts made me Blush.

Great second book
This was another good quick read, though slightly longer than the first book. Lots of spice to be had.
First part of the book had my heart breaking for Brugo, I’m really looking forward to them breaking the curse.
This was another good quick read, though slightly longer than the first book. Lots of spice to be had.
First part of the book had my heart breaking for Brugo, I’m really looking forward to them breaking the curse.

This book has an entertaining storyline, I can't wait to read the next book as this one ended on a cliffhanger. I received this book as a Free ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
