Series Note: Although linked by a common theme, the stories in this series may be read in any order.

Revenge can be sexy and sweet. Dom Daniel Armstrong has waited twenty years for the chance to possess the beautiful and fiery I Heart TC waitress Bridget Kelley. She broke his heart and crushed his ego, twice, and he’s never gotten over her. This time, he won’t take no for an answer. Seeing her in an oh-so short skirt at a BDSM club has reignited his determination, and a charity auction provides a means for him to possess her and do good at the same time. Who could resist?

When she realizes the always-persistent Daniel has won her, Bridget is frantic. She desperately tries to back out of the deal to spend an entire weekend at his family’s secluded James River plantation. This is a man she’s scorned, and worse, a Dom who knows her naughty desires. She’s seen him control a woman before, and the idea of submitting to him both thrills and frightens her. And just when she thinks things can’t get worse, he introduces her to his twin, David. Suddenly, she’s faced with not one, but two, determined Doms…

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: anal play/intercourse, BDSM theme and content, ménage (m/f/m), spanking.

A second publication with some rewrites. Great scenes but still a few issues. 3.5 Stars
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’ve read many of this authors books and she is well known for her steamy reads. So when this one came up for review as a rewrite I wanted to check it out.
The storyline itself is very hot, with scenes of BDSM and erotica. If you can get over the guys being brothers, you will definitely enjoy the menage aspect. It is all MFM.
Daniels obsession was a key point in this book, however I thought there was areas or opportunity that was missing and could’ve really been expanded if we heard more from his point of view.
And the fact that Daniel has a twin who is a Dom as well makes this read double hot. But I didn’t feel a true connection between all of the characters. It was a great read, very hot, but so many areas just rang untrue and under developed.
As for Bridget’s sister, sorry, I would never have forgiven her even though everything worked out right, it was still a backwards twisted thing to do.
Overall, the plot is hot and the story is definitely delicious. Sierra Cartwright offers some spicy works! Definitely worth the read, if you can pass over some issues.
Another great book by Sierra Cartwright.
This is a ménage romance with some BDSM scenes. Loved the story and how everything ended with the characters. Can’t wait to read more from this author.
Not sure about this one. I liked it first, but then it just bored me. The author created drama when there was really none to be had. Then we jumped from I feel rejected to let’s get married? Huh? I am confused. He thought the worst of her but wants to spend the rest of his life with her. You don’t know her well enough and that is why your accusation was wrong. Duh, dude! Also she just accepted everything about BDSM without question or second thoughts or heck no. Oh I am scared is her reaction. I am sure there are people who take to it like ducks to water but that just seems like a huge mental and emotional jump to make. They never set rules and what was punishable what was not it was all up for grabs.
It was ok I guess nothing thrilling,
3* now or never STARS!
Sierra Cartwright always be my go-to author for BDSM romance. Based on the title, I already sense that threesome or menage is the main menu. Well.. I don't mind. However, the story fell flat for me with no chemistry at all. It isn't that bad but isn't good either.
Things that didn't work for me:
One, the heroine Bridget. I couldn't connect with her at all.
Second, Daniel is a fine man also Dominant who is pinning over Bridget for years and finally managed to 'blackmail' her to be his submissive. I found his method is ruthless and desperate.
Three, Daniel's twin, Jacob who is appear out of nowhere. He's also interested with Bridget. Also a Dominant. Of course, he's the playful one.
Four, the fast paced. A whole story is about BDSM scene. I enjoyed it but somehow feel bored. It was too formal for my taste.
Finally, the insta-love. Uh huh... *judging eyes*
Twins make up the double part of the title and Bridget is the trouble. Bridget is so elusive that a charity auction is the only answer for the Armstrong brothers. Erotic scenes with BDSM involved. All consensual play but the characters and the plot did not evolve into a journey of the heart and soul. While this was well written, I was a bit bored.
Overall, this didn't do much for me.
I didn't particularly like the heroine.
The conflict was sorta lame.
This book had potential, but unfortunately it fell incredibly short for me. First, I want to point out that there are different versions of this book by this title and author on here. The other version appears to have a different back story which if I had read may have changed my opinion of this book.
My major issue with this book? I felt no connection between any of the characters. We're lead to believe that Daniel and Bridget have this past where he would hit on her and she would decline him. Where they had these little jokes they would play on each other when he frequently came into the bar she owned (worked at?). This all was lacking...the book opens with the auction and Daniel bidding on Bridget which is fine, but if we're lead to believe that she's going from spending a weekend with him to spending a weekend exploring BDSM for the first time the characters should at the very least trust each other and be familiar with one another. I would have loved to read more about their "relationship" before the auction.
The lack of conversation before the first scene bothered me. There was no discussion about hard/soft limits or even what Bridget had or had no experienced with when it came to toys. Despite having no experience, Bridget has no concerns or worries about jumping in and exploring BDSM with two complete strangers. She has no problem about going to a secluded home by herself, to explore this lifestyle.
Honestly if it weren't for the incredibly HOT scenes, I would have given up on this book because of the lack of connection between the characters. The ending didn't sit well with me...it really seemed to have come out of left field.
You can always count on Sierra Cartwright to give us great books with believable characters.  Double Trouble is a rewrite and republish of an earlier edition.
Bridget, Daniel, and Jacob are an interesting dynamic.  Each one is successful in their own right. They all realize rather quickly what they seem to want, but there are some demons to slay in order to get there.
All three characters were no nonsense and felt they were easily likeable.  The hardest one for me to get a handle on was Daniel.  Only because we never really got a good read what was going on in his head, until later in the story.  Bridget is unwittingly put on auction at her sister's charity event and Daniel wins her.  She's mortified because she is really attracted to him and thinking she could never measure up to his perceived expectations, has thwarted his previous advances.  Realizing she is stuck, she thinks things can't get much worse, right? Wrong! Daniel reveals his twin, Jacob, and the plan is for her to spend the weekend with both of them! Let the games begin!
Once the weekend starts, all three have some eye opening experiences.  Bridget finds she likes some of the BDSM elements the twins enlighten her with and the twins themselves are sure they've found their missing soulmate.  There are feelings to work through though, and some old ideas hampering them, but have no fear Sierra gives us that HEA we crave!
OMG !!!! this book is double sizzling and it has superpowers to glue you to your seat and make you crave TWINS :)
this is such a good book, the story is real and the emotions are so strong, you can't stay detached and you just want in on the fun.
Bridget has it going for herself except with love and if that wasn't enough of embarrassment, thanks to sneaky ways of her sister and a certain dark haired hunk named Daniel she get's an offer she can't refuse. Add to it all equally hot twin brother Jacob ... seriously .... its a double fudge cake that you can't refuse, even at the threat of double the calories :)
its a excellent read, that I guarantee you won't let go, until you have it all in one sitting. and you will crave twins, and double fudge cake :)
M/F/M Romance BDSM
I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.
So, I usually jump right in and love Cartwright stories, but I had a more difficult time with this one.
It seemed that nobody was really listening to Bridget when she protested, said no and was generally reluctant to do anything in this story.
Daniel has been obsessed with Bridget since he saw her at a local BDSM club a while ago. He made the automatic assumption that she was a submissive and based everything from then on, on his assumption. He didn't really take the time to ask her, talk with her or figure it out. Now, I realize that Bridget made talking with her difficult, but still... what Dom doesn't take the time to make sure?
Then you have Bridget's sister... I did not understand this relationship at all. There is no way I would ever forgive my sister or any family member, even if things did work out. Again, this is where I had issues with the story - nobody listened to Bridget.
Jacob was another story. I felt that he listened to Bridget, got to know her and that their chemistry and relationship was the most genuine in the book. If you can get past the fact that him and his brother like to share women, I thought Jacob was the most patient and realistic of the bunch.
The scenes of BDSM were steamy and hot and all were M/F/M. I liked how you got to see the relationship from all sides. I also liked how the brothers interacted towards the middle and end.
Overall, this was a quick, steamy read. There were just a few things that made it strangely not my favorite.
A book about identical twins, and a smart chick who knows what she wants in a relationship and career. Twin Daniel is a little hard-nosed, whereas the other twin is more relaxed in the relationship. The brothers past was realistic to me, because the previous women in the relationship could not handle how others thought a relationship should be interpreted in society, they would leave the relationship to an unsatistied. The brothers are searching for one woman who will satisify their needs. The ending was not what I expected. The author kept my interest and there would be a lot of spoilers
No muss, no fuss, this book takes you right to the heart of the story, and then when you least expect it, emotions jump up at you and take ahold. Then we get the sweet, yet super sexy, epilogue
Bridget and Daniel have danced around each other for years, but he is done dancing. When he is able to arrange for Bridget to become part of the fundraising efforts for her sister, he stacks the cards in his favour. Once the deal is sealed, he lets her know he doesn't come alone, his brother Jacob is part of the deal
After much stalling, Bridget holds up her end of the deal. She isn't afraid of Daniel and Jacob, she is afraid of her reaction to them. As they start, spend, and delve deeper into things together, their chemistry is off the wall hot. They compliment each other perfectly, in every way, both sexually, BDSM-wise, and personally. Their interest overlap enough that they can assist and advise each other. A fabulous weekend is had by all, and they are all starting to think what will happen beyond it, but real life intrudes before they can figure that out
Jacob handles this well, Daniel does not, and Bridget is left confused and hurt. Siblings to the rescue, and things work out for the HEA, and how to handle the real world with their unique situation with their relationship and their living arrangements for their work
From the dedication, to the epilogue, I completely and thoroughly enjoyed this triad!
I'm sorry, but a menage with brothers always squicks me out. I find the idea of hooking up with two brothers disturbing.
The story isn't badly written, though a bit repetitive. You can only describe body parts so many times the same way before it gets repetitive and boring. Take the brother thing out of the mix, and this one has real potential.
Also? What's with all the "fecking"? Both in thought and dialogue. That's just stupid. This is an erotica book, use "fucking"! And her being "Irish" is no excuse to use "fecking". In fact, since it's not really a word, there are no excuses to use it. Ever.
What I liked about this book, is that it's a BDSM story with a twist. The sub is spunky and talks back, and the two Dom/one sub thing isn't rigid in the setup. She's allowed to be herself in the whole scenario thing.
Wonderfully kinky ménage
Sierra Cartwright is a favorite of mine. She write sexy fun books with wonderful characters. Bridget, Daniel and Jacob are unique in their own ways yet totally believable. Developing a realistic romantic relationship in a novel is a challenge but I think a ménage is even more challenging because of its unique dynamics. Sierra Cartwright's Double Trouble takes the reader on a satisfying journey to a HEA.
This is one hot book! I not only loved the plot and the way the story developed but the hotness of it. It brought out the emotions of all the characters. The highs and lows of each one. There is just something about loving someone who wants nothing to do with you and then finally they see you for who you are. Then add your brother into the mix and sparks surely start flying. These three main characters go through some ups and downs as they find their way to happiness and love.
Double Trouble by Ms. Sierra Cartwright was my first read from her, but not my first dive into BDSM nor menage. Let me introduce you first to our trio.
Bridget is the woman in trouble or the trouble from Daniel Armstrong. She's been fighting his flirtations for a long time because good ole Daniel has a reputation. Attracted she may be, she's just not going in there with him. Add to that fact that she'd been burned before because of her work as a bartender, she's determined not to succumb to his charms.
"The real problem might not be Daniel. It might be her. she knew that if she slept with him, her emotions would have become entangled, then, when he discarded her, as he no doubt would, she'd be devastated. As much as turning him down was the last thing she'd wanted to do, she'd told herself she was preventing later and greater heartbreak"
She has her reasons people, plus she learned something about him and I'm with her.
"It had been one thing to be attracted to him, but finding out he was a Dom had made him irresistable."
Daniel, on the other hand was adamant about pursuing her. He's been pining for her for such a long time after all. He's got so much plans for her. And oh, have I mention that Daniel has a twin? Yes! Twosome-Awesome guys! TWINSIES!!!
But there's a dilemma to their trio. Like I guess anyone who delved into this kind of relationship. Top question is "How does it work?". And, it's none of our business anymore. Really.
Menage doesn't bother me whether it's from real life or fiction. But when it comes to fiction, I have a, let's say, a requirement. I don't read books just for the sake of reading a book. I read and devour any of the books that lands my way. It is, after all my journey read . And diving into BDSM is something I thread carefully, as it could be very addicting.
So I look into certain things when it comes to this kind of material. First, the connection of the characters . It's very hard to devour a book if there's no connection or chemistry among the character/s. It's not just all about the hot sex that most readers look for, for the most part. Second, the descriptive detailing of the scenes highlights the emotions of the book. I WANT TO FEEL THE FEELINGS TOO. It's necessary to be connected with the characters.
Did this book achieved all of the above mentioned? No. Not really, at least in my opinion. It just lacked building a lust
in me. Which normally happens when I read books like this. The inner cravings and inner slut in me should be grinding tirelessly but she's kind of silent. It just failed to reach my top button hot-o-meter.
But did I enjoy this book after all? Yes, yes I did. This is still a hot read. A menage that consists of a twins and an estate so, so far away, you may scream your orgasm, there won't be neighbors banging on your wall. I'd love to check out Ms. Cartwright's other books as I'm kind of intrigued that this has other series, though not connected to each other, just a linked by a common theme.
Double Trouble is a ménage story that, while sexy, is lacking a strong emotional connection between the three characters, and one of the heroes is pretty unlikable.
Bridget is a busy bar owner who has been pursued by successful banker, Daniel, for three years, but she's always turned him down because something about him gets under her skin. When she sees him at a local club and the dom in him realizes her submissive tendencies, he becomes even more determined to have her. To that end, he colludes with her sister to get her to enter a charity auction, in which he bids on, and wins, a weekend to be spent with her at the soon to be opened B&B/events hall he and his brother own. When she finally runs out of excuses to not spend the weekend with him, and she arrives, she finds out Daniel has an equally gorgeous and dominant twin brother, Jacob, with whom she and Daniel will spend the weekend exploring all their fantasies.
Normally I'd be all for a sexy MFM ménage story, but in this case I just could not connect with it. Yes, it's hot, but beyond that, there's not much to it. In order for a ménage to be successful, the emotional connection between the three characters must be equal to, or stronger than, the physical, and here in Double Trouble, that just is not the case. Daniel claims to have been obsessed with Bridget for three years, but I didn't believe that for a second. Do I believe he wanted her? Absolutely. Obsessed with her? Loved her? Not even a little bit. Add in the fact that he was kind of an asshole and yeah, I was turned off his character a lot. And then there's Jacob. I found him to be the nicer of the two twins, but considering that he had known Bridget for a weekend, I can't believe that he felt as strongly for her as Daniel claimed to feel for her. Ugh. Double Trouble is just an excuse for a bunch of lightly kinky threesome sex. There's no genuine love, no strong feelings, nothing passionate and loving at all. Such a disappointment. If you're looking for a well balanced ménage, I suggest you look elsewhere. If you only care about the steamy stuff, then Double Trouble may be for you.
*** ARC provided by the author for an honest review ***
Two hot and sexy dominates, meet up with a possible submissive, in Sierra Cartwright’s, Double Trouble. Daniel and Jason are interested in having a shared relationship with Bridget, but will she be interested in doing so past the one shared weekend.
Bridget Kelley has been single for a while and hasn’t had sex in what feels like forever. No one has come into her life that she has been interested in. And so, she has thrown herself into work, fighting to stay as busy as she possibly can.
Daniel Armstrong has been interested in Bridget since he first crossed paths with her three years ago. Since then, he has pursued her, even though she has turned him down at every opportunity. He is not sure if he is interested in her because he is seriously attracted to her, or if just because she continues to turn him down.
While working the bar of a charity event for her sister, Bridget is unknowingly put up for auction for a date. This is David’s opportunity to gain some personal and direct time with Bridget. Bridget wants to do whatever she can to get out of it. She doesn’t trust Daniel. He is constantly seen out with a variety of women. So, in her mind, he doesn’t have the staying power that she would need from someone that she is interested in.
THIS BOOK WAS HOT. This was my second book to read by Sierra Cartwright, and I have now decided that I will be reading everything by her. The personal relationship between Daniel and his brother, is interesting. Different in that the twin brothers share women. But then the relationship between Daniel and Bridget was something to see. Hot, hot, hot, FIVE stars.
For hot, steamy, sexy men Sierra Cartwright is one of my GOTO authors.
Her stories always leave you wanting more... and Double Trouble is no different.
Daniel Armstrong, sexy businessman has been asking Bridget out for 3 years, and she always turned him down, aware that he could destroy her, as he had a reputation of being a player.
So when Bridget's sister sets her up in an auction, Daniel wastes no time in placing a very generous bid for her. Winning a weekend with her.
I love Bridget, she has a great sassy tough exterior, and whilst she was trying to protect herself she was about to get way more fun that she has even thought possible.
It came in the package of twins, which should have scared anyone away but it made Bridge more excited to see and learn what was in store for her.
If you're looking for a sexy, hot book about self discovery and learning to trust others on a very deep level, this is a must!
I really liked Jacob Armstrong, he was of a totally different personality to Danel, but they were both very intense and it seems they always get what they want.
Daniel was a bit more hot headed than Jacob, whereas Jacob was a thoughtful thinker.
Their dynamic as a triad, was breath takingingly beautiful, they were great as 3 individuals but as a threesome they were unstoppable.
A great page turning book, with a fab storyline, and a very exciting look at how BDSM can work in a normal familial environment.
I loved Daniel figuring out different things from Jacob, but totally loved Jacob making his hot headed brother realise what was happening. They were a very well suited trio, and as much as I didn't want it to end, I couldn't put it down.
Great storyline, great characters, great job!
I am giving this book 5 stars because the author did a wonderful job with this hot sexy story. What I love about this book is that it gets right down to the good stuff and there is no beating around the bush when it comes to this book. Daniel Armstrong is a very determine man who always gets what he wants, and the day he laid his eyes on Bridget he knew she was perfect for him well not just for him but also his twin brother. Of course it doesn't start off easy where would be the fun in that. That's what makes Bridget so perfect for them because she makes them jump through hoops before they can finally have her. But Daniel and his brother Jacob are also the only men that could ever satisfy Bridget see these men like their women to be submissive, and willing to do whatever they want her to do they are about to open up a whole new world to Bridget that's going to take her on a kicky hot ride that she going to love. I really enjoyed how each character balanced each other out. I mean who wouldn't want two hot twins who are rich, demanding, and all they want in the end is a woman who is going to love and accept them for who they are oh and who can give them babies to carry on their family legacy. So if you love books with dom's, twins, and a happy ending then you are going to really like this book.
Double Trouble I thought had everything that would make a hot, steamy and highly connected menage romance. Twin brothers and a stubborn and independent woman having a wild weekend away together.
Whilst I enjoyed the overall story I have to admit that I found it hard to connect to the leading lady, Bridget. There was a moment in chapter 11 where she showed her depth of emotion and feeling for the guys and I was thought we were finally turning a corner. She was devastated with the way Daniel ended the weekend and I too felt incredibly sad for her.
The guys Jacob and Daniel were characters easy to connect with and their brotherly banter was a favourite part.
The story flowed very quickly, perhaps two much towards the end as it did feel slightly rushed. I would have enjoyed seeing how these three business people moved forward in their lives together juggling their BDSM lifestyle.
Being a BDSM story there was plenty of intense erotic scenes however I felt there was not enough after care. Perhaps that is where we may have seen more emotional connection between the characters. I really wanted Daniel and Jacob to show more loving care to Bridget and not all the time their Dom tendencies.
If you are looking for a quick and easy BDSm read you will enjoy Double Trouble.
I really enjoyed this submissive, dominate book. I liked that Bridget's sister put her up for a date in a charity auction, without her approval & knowledge. She was shocked at how much she was auctioned off for. Daniel has lusted after Bridget for years and has tried to take her on a date, but much to his dismay she turns him down. When he wins the bid to date her, she is very leery, because she thinks she could come to have feelings for him, and doesn't want to. Imagine her shock to discover that he has an identical twin brother! Two for the price of one! They agree to a weekend date. One thing I wasn't quite sure of, was that they jump right into a dominate, submissive relationship with no discussions of limits, or expectations. Bridget has never tried any type of relationship like this, and it's a little hard to believe that she just jumps right into trusting these two men. Plus after one weekend, they all fall in love? I did enjoy the happily ever after ending, although I would loved for the author to explore more of what happened after their all together. How family and friends react, and if it cost them some relationships. I can't wait to read more from this author.
“This time, he won’t take no for an answer.”
This is not the way to start any book.
A bartender is tricked by her sister into putting herself into a charity auction. The sister knows damn well there’s a rich guy who wants her, so she’s basically pimping her out for donations.
The story had barely started and I already hated this mother-fucker. He’s a sadistic dom, but luckily—and conveniently—she turns out to be a closet sub. Then his brother appears. . .
The descriptions of the renovated mansion are tedious. I skipped them; not here for architecture. Other than that, this is excellently written, with plenty of genuinely funny moments, particularly in her introspection. My favorite parts were the amazing lead female character and the intriguing sex scenes. The only downside for me was the lead male character at the beginning, but even he got better. Even the sister got better, though I would have never forgiven her.
Sierra Cartwright is one of my favorite authors, and she’s also an amazing person as well! Double Trouble is a book that was previously published but is all shiny and new!
Bridget gets sucked into an auction by her sister Mary for a children’s charity when someone else pulls out at the last minute. She figures no one is going to bid on her, but she’s horrified when powerful banker and known player Daniel Armstrong is the winner. It takes her weeks before she cashes in on his prize, but she’s really in for a big surprise when his twin brother decides to get in on the action.
She spends a kinky, amazing weekend with the brothers but after it’s over, she’s not quite sure if Daniel wants to continue.
This was a sexy, massively HOT read from Sierra that was even better for me this time around. Sierra’s talent shines through in her characters and spellbinding storylines.
Double Trouble is so freaking HOT!!! These are two Doms that I would love to get underneath and in between.....
After avoiding Daniel for years, she's thrust into a position by her sister where she can't say no or get out of it... but Daniel and his identically HOT twin, Jacob, are ready to show her an amazing weekend getaway. Lucky for Bridget, she has a curiosity of BDSM and, unfortunately at the time, ran into Daniel with a sub at a local club. These twins get an opportunity to bring out her submission, but will they be able to hold onto her after the weekend is over.... will Bridget have a change of heart and no longer want to avoid Daniel.... will she forgive her sister for putting her in this situation....
Loved this book! Thanks for all you give us Sierra!! <3<3<3
Thank you Publisher and Author
I Give this Book 3 1/2 Stars
This book is only 12 chapters and honestly I consider this a novella, it was definitely short but decently paced.
This is a Ménage HEA, The Men are twins.
The 2 of the characters previously met, so it wasn’t like two strangers meeting, but the 3rd character knew of her and was prepared for her, but to her it was a surprise. My issue is that you didn’t get to see her feelings much, to be in her head so to speak
I would read more books from this author, definitely to see if she’s more descriptive in her other books.
Another great story from Sierra Cartwright, this time a ménage with twin brothers.
Daniel has wanted for Bridget for a few years but she’s always turned him down thinking she’d just be another notch on his bedpost. Bridget’s sister is holding an auction for charity and Bridget is the prize. She has to stay with Daniel for a weekend, then finds he’s a twin and she’ll be with them both.
After making them wait months they cram mostly everything into a weekend! But what a weekend it was!
If you’re looking for hot and steamy then here it is.
Sierra never fails to let you down.
