Milo Abbott always knew he would become a Navy SEAL. Leaving his religious upbringing and doing what he’s always wanted is more than he thought possible. Being placed on the same team as Garrett Robicheaux was the best thing that ever happened to him. Until he met her.
Lia Goodwin is beautiful, smart, funny, and in more danger than she can possibly imagine. Her father was an FBI agent who found ways to sell information to every terrorist group in the world, homegrown included. Realizing what kind of man he is, she has to find a way to make it right. Contacting RP seems the best way to stop her father, but she never expected Milo.
It seems the adventures never end for the RP men and with any luck, Lia will have the same love luck as the rest of the women at Belle Fleur. Only time will tell. Well, time and ghosts.
Thank you for reading my bio and my books! I live and work in Dallas, TX. I'm the mother of two amazing daughters and two fantastic, intelligent grandsons, with one more on the way, and a wonderful son-in-law. I love to cook, travel, and write, but I'm also an avid reader. Being from a military family, my books often center around strong, military men but I also LOVE strong, independent, intelligent women. As always Ms. Mary, a beautiful novel about another Reaper-Patriot family member. I am so glad Milo and Lia got their story. She needed to leave to think with all that happened to her because of her father. Milo has to save her from a house burning rapidly to the ground, and takes her back to Belle Cher. Quickly their feelings ignite, but little things like treason, killings, multiple wives and children come to light. Lia's father is still creating deadly chaos from the grave. Together, these young people have much to overcome, and Milo's grandfather is coming for a visit... Every Reaper-Patriot novel is unique in its own way, this makes them such a joy to read. You have brought these individual characters to life in such a way readers always want to know what is next! I loved Milo and Lia's story, and ... Cannot Wait for Torro's!
Another very good story in the Reaper-Patriots world. As this series goes on it evolves and takes different twists and turns than expected. In this story, Milo takes centre stage with Lia. They met in a previous story and at the beginning, Lia moves home to her mother and stepfathers house. They go and holiday and she intends to go to Belle-Fleur and visit Milo, only someone breaks in and sets off a chain reaction of events. This covers a veritable smorgasbord of themes that pop up during the story. I really enjoyed it
So Lia is back in this one and boy the trouble stemming from her father is still following her. You would have thought we had learned all the bad stuff, but turns out the father was a bigger POS than you would have imagined. What the team learned and where it lead them was so crazy! You can't help but feel bad for the people this man touched and hurt, others not so much, especially the ones that conspired with him.
Interesting what we learned about Torro, feel bad for him. Looks like Milo's grandpa is sticking around, a good thing because he's a hoot!
These two make a sweet and strong couple. So much has happened that Lia was not aware of while her father was still alive. Even after his death he is still causing much chaos and pain. Milo and Lia along with the rest of this ever growing family of bad ass men and women figure out what is going on and start to take down the evil. Suffering and sadness happen but we shall see what happens when Torro is strong again.
Thank you, to my favourite author, Mary Kennedy, for once again writing another awesome book! From the very first book until this last one, I’ve been so invested in the series. It’s like watching a favourite tv show and having to wait for the next episode. These books never disappoint…they are filled with amazing characters, crazy but wonderful storylines that keeps me wanting more! So thank you!💕
I chose this rating because this was a pretty great book. I really enjoyed most all of the characters. This was a book of protection, kindness, compassion, doing the right thing and believing in yourself and falling in love. I really enjoyed Milo and Lia story, I think the author did a great job with putting these characters together. Lia have been through something in her life, Milo came to the rescue. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.

One of the best stories I have read so far this year! I highly recommend Mary Kennedy she has a wonderful way with words. I have read everything that she has written and have not read a bad one yet.
I am a big fan of Ms Kennedys! It took me a while when I finally discovered her and her amazing talent to catch up to all the books she had written in these few series😘 I'm caught up now and can't wait for the next book!
A fast paced story about a young women running for her life after she realizes her father wasn't what he seemed. A drama filled with secrets and immense danger and a story that definitely will hold a reader's attention.
As normal a brilliant read. This author never disappoints. I really tried to take my time but again once I started I couldn’t stop. Everything you expect from this author intrigue some laughs and for me some tears as well. Bring on the next book
