Suspense, Circumstance, Forbidden Love
M. James knocks it out of the park with Book 2 of Max & Sasha’s story. We have had this build up of their desires and lust for each other through so many encounters and experiences. However, now that they’ve given in to these temptations there is no going back. However, Max is struggling with his decisions and desires. He has to keep Sasha safe but the sacrifice he must make isn’t one that will keep her happy or safe. The choices he makes will make you angry and hurt. Max is making bad decisions and Sasha is the one with the broken heart and crushed spirit. Of course this a trilogy so the cliffhanger is a hard one to swallow but as always M. James never lets us down but waiting for this final book is going to be torture! Happy Reading!!

I love Max and Sasha together. And now there is real danger to her from a past she doesn’t even know about.
And bless his heart, Max, ever sacrificing, decides he needs to do something that will shatter Sasha to save her.
It’s quite tiring honestly. He breaks his celibacy vow with her about as often as he breaks her heart, telling her they can never be together.
Get yourself together, man.
And the ending here? Well I will be looking forward to their conclusion in the next book.

Max is infuriating
Started off too slow for me. Then it picked up and got really interesting. I love Sasha; broken, kind, strong young woman. Max comes across as weak and a coward. I almost like his younger brother better. But their chemistry and loyalty is hot. I love the series but right now I am not happy about Max. (My least favourite character in this otherwise wonderful series.) I don't know how he can be redeemed? Ok M James let's see what you got? You have left me so upset!

Another great read
The 2nd book of Sasha & Max gives us the life of hiding out in Italy then onto a twist that causes Max's future path to do a 180 and Sasha to suffer the consequences.
While we had some great scenes in this book. Just like Isabella & Niall's 2nd book it left me in tears with the complete breakdown of their relationship and any sort of hope that they had for it.
We were left on a cliffhanger leading into the next book.

Heart breaking 💔
This book is heartbreaking. Sasha has gone through so much why, why continue to make her suffer? Max is so confused and though I don't like Art, he is right, Max is not his own man, and until he is, he will continue to hurt Sasha. I don't think I can wait till the 29th. I need a sneek preview of book 3. The anticipation is going to kill me!!!

Temptation & Responsibility
M. James 2nd book in the Forbidden series is just as exciting as the first . Every chapter brings intrigue and action which paths the way for the third and last book of the Forbidden series. Can't wait to take this path to the very last sentence!
