A short pleasant read but more of a synopsis of Prince Harry’s life. If you’ve been following his life story there’s not much here that’s new. It was a nice prequel to his upcoming memoir, ‘Spare’. Looking forward to reading that. It’s released today.
Prince Harry: The Biography is published by University Press. It was published in 2023. This is a relatively short biography and is definitely short on details. The major events in Harry’s life are addressed; but in a very direct and succinct manner. There are no explanations on how events in his life were handled nor how they affected him. I was disappointed in this book as I expected more. There is no personality in the book. Usually after reading a biography, I feel like I know the person a little better. Not this time. I feel like I could get more information in a more entertaining format if I looked him up in an encyclopedia.
I received this book free in exchange for a honest review. This book would be suitable as a resource for an elementary school student's book report on Prince Harry.
I found constant references to going more indept in future chapters annoying and unnecessary.
This reads more like a pamphlet you might get at a tourist shop. The language is awkward and the insights are very surface. Looking forward to Harry's own book.
A good short synopsis of the prince’s life prior to and after his marriage without making judgments by telling the facts which allows the reader to understand the facts.
This book is one of the worst written books I have ever read. The author presented facts and then would say, "You'll learn about this in the next section." This type of writing style continued throughout the book.
