Translated in English from Punjabi by Akshey Kumar, this Sahitya Akademi award winning collection of five stories are set with terrorism in Punjab as backdrop. The stories are a poignant depiction of the helplessness of the common folk caught between the terrorists and official machinery. Some of the stories are a deep study into the psyche of people affected by fear and anger.
