Being a huge Jenny (Penny and Jerry) shipper, I LOVED the book! I can't believe they finally kissed. The plot was pretty decent and the book was hilarious. Another great Penny Parker book!

As with the first novel in this series this one also has the villain easily revealed, this on page 7.
The story concerns Penny and Louise at the seaside, her father paying a lot of attention to a woman named Deline, camping out (rather disastrously), a male friend of Penny's, an Air Force bomber, spies, an enemy submarine and a portable radio station.
Penny is somewhat reckless and very active in her work, more so than the later Nancy Drew character.
The story is rather good with the exception of how quickly the main villain was revealed. There were more villains added, of course. Also, for some young person reading this story at that time there was probably less chance of detecting the villain so quickly.
