The perfect springtime read leading up to another summer of camping and hiking! I am so lucky to live just outside of the magnificent Adirondack park and can visit as often as I like. Although cautionary tales make up a large portion of this volume, it got my heart racing and excited to get out on those trails. After all, the mountains are calling...

The book contains 87 short stories, They are only 2 to 4 pages long and make for quick reading. I can relate to many of the stories especially he ones that include some misfortune or stupidity.

Very easy read but captivating and compelling for those interested in pursuing the ADK peaks.
